Try changing the battery. Wireless keyboards and mice are very sensitive to low battery life. Once the battery is changed let me know if that solves the problem.

Press the button on the back of the mouse to free the battery cover on top.
Remove the battery cover and put the supplied AA battery into the mouse.
Replace the battery cover.
Insert the wireless USB dongle into a USB port on the laptop or desktop computer.
Move the mouse and watch your computer screen.
Confirm that the mouse is connected by making the cursor move.
