SOURCE: redelight showing plus minus on dash

typically it means that the alternator is starting fail...

You should take a voltmeter and read the charge at the battery terminal with the car off.. should be around 12V... then read the charge with the car running.. should be between 13V-14V.. anything lower and it's not charging properly.. anything higher and it's over charging and damaging your battery.... a failing alternator can work at times and fail at times, so when you got it checked, it could be fully operational

SOURCE: Scalding hot water

If your water is too hot, then either the water tank thermostat or the wiring to the indoor unit is defective. When the water reaches the set temperature, then the tank thermostat contacts should open up and shut off the combustion unit. If the combustion unit does not shut off, then check all wiring and relays. A manual is located at

Have a 2002 echo 4 door my son took out battery to use in his jeep then he put it back in the echo now it won't turn over all dash light are on I hear a buzzing noise inside transmission pan

Probably is a bad battery. Most of them start to die after 1 1/2 to 2 years. Try to use a jump start or another battery to verify. Good luck.

Could you send me a diagram of how to hook up the two six volt house batteries.

Hi if you want to join two batteries to make 12v place the batteries side to side and. Connect the negative from one battery to the plus of the other. Then connect the batteries in the vehicle as normal plus to plus minus to minus. If the vehicle is 6v then connect plus to plus and minus to minus this will give you 6volts and double the amps. Hope this helps. Regards Jim...

What happens when you hook a care battery up backwards?

Hello Glen, Bad bad things can happen when you hook up a car battery backwards. If your car has a high quality electrical system it might only blow out one or two main fuses. If not, it can cause havoc on the wiring system and burn out the alternator, computer, sensors, modules, and stereo system to name a few.

Can elite650pro be connected to100ah battery and charge? and is it advisable?

Yes, you can the internal battery. It is not difficult. I did it on an
APC ES-750 backup. You can contact the manufacture. Maybe, it's still under warranty. If not, look-up your replacement battery on e-bay. You may find instructions how to install the battery on U-tube.

My battery sparks when i get a jump

DANGER CLOSE !!! Call of duty....
stop , backup, and do nothing, spark + hydrogen gas = BOOM.
now say what you were doing, my guess, JUMPER CABLE USAGE.
did you read the book on how to use cables.
No, this is not random chance... at all..
1 cars not touching,,,,, (bumpers kissing no)
2 Red Plus lug to Plus lug , or blow electronics to H3LL!! $$$$$$$$$$
3: on dead car connect battery minus lug (black) to jumper cable clip.
4: connect the jumper (last black) wire to the good cars, metal.
find strong metal connection ,not battery. (it can and will spark)
this prevents the BOOM acid in face deal.
5: start good car
6: wait 1 or 2 min, to allow dead battery to wake up a bit.
7: now crank dead car.

car starts
i then off the metal jumper end first, then other minus
then either and both PLUS clips.

the spark is due to one battery charging the other, normal
the trick is to make said spark in a safe place far from any batteries.

Replaced battery clamps, got in to start it up to find the car totally dead. the battery seems fully charged when I put it on the slow charger. Does this car require a special clamp, and or cable set up?

First Make sure the batter was charged with possitive on the plus and negative on the minus sign. For some crazy reason my battery drained and I charged it by just looking at the colored pads and the previous owner had them on backwards so I basically reversed the poles on my battery. (The car wouldn't start either). Use a volt meter to be sure it will show - minus sign if backwards

Make sure all your cables were reinstalled, (red wire to alternator and starter) Black wires to grounds.

If all that checks and your battery show good voltage try your (Large fuses) mains that are 20,30,40,50,and 60 amps.

Replaced battery now no ower at all

Was the battery possibly installed with plus & minus reversed ? There would be sparks, smoke, if so.

If this is not the case, one of the cables is likely not making good contact -- check all four ends of both cables for tight clean connection.
