Question about Samsung SGH-D900 Cellular Phone

You only have so many legal options. There are a few other options not so legal ;-]
Basically about all you can do legally is take the phone to a local support shop. They have software recovery tools which can recover all of the pictures and mp3's. The annoying bit can be having to prove it is your phone. Some shops are more paranoid than others and will ask for proof of ownership before touching it. They have no idea of who the phone belongs to or if it is stolen so they will protect themselves. This can be annoying but if you know they might ask before getting down there you can dig that stuff out before going.
Basically the not so legal ways use versions of the same software and a laptop. Since this is your own phone it should be legal for you to do this to your own phone. You just have to find what telephone toolkit suite is used for your model. After that you basically hook the phone up to a usb port and run the software. I'm not that familair with samsungs (do mainly motorola) so I don;t know the name of the toolkit you need. If you want to try this then you'll need to search for things like samsung toolkit cellular or wireless. You should be able to track down the one you need. A few minutes of work and your phone should be working again. Now as a warning if you do this to someone else's phone then it is a very major no-no legally to put it mildly and best avoided. ;-]
Wish I had some exact info for you but that will get you headed in the right direction if you wan to either get it fixed or try to fix it yourself.
