Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My bike has a 29" wheel. The manual only goes to 28" wheel to set the computer. What do I do?

Set it to 28, the error will be only 5.4 percent , it doesn't really matter.
For every one revolution of the wheel the computer will think the bike has travelled 5.4% less distance than it actually has travelled so it will under read distance and speed.

How to change rear tire schwinn suburban womens bike

Remove wheel, take it to the nearest bike shop for correct replacement and tire sizing. Schwinn tires are different than other tires. They use fractions rather than the decimal system everybody else uses. So a Schwinn tire won't fit on a decimal rim and a decimal tire won't fit on a Schwinn rim

How does a quick release go together on a rear wheel of a schwinn hydra bike

Quick release can be fitted to any bike - all you need is to fit hollow axle first.

The front wheel on the schwinn rosebud is not sliding into the frame easily. What do I do to get it into the frame?

The skewer on the wheel is probably the culprit. If the nut/bolt is too tight or sticking out further on one side than the other, it won't fit. Try loosening it as far as it will go without falling off, then carefully slide it in - both sides simultaneously, not one side at a time.
Also, if you are trying to fit the wheel into the fork, you might instead try to set the bike onto the wheel. It may sound stupid, but may get you the angle you need, and it works for me. Lastly, the fork (or the place where the wheel mounts) may be slightly bent, so you might want to step back and eyeball to be sure if you think that's the case. I hope that helps.

I have this Meridian Trike (Walmart purchase). I need a FREE WHEEL 16T SPROCKET to fit the rear axle shaft. the shaft is larger than 15mm & 5/8in ?? My local Bike shop could not help me with this odd...

Why not call a Schwinn dealer and ask if they can order it for you? You do realize that you void any warranty by altering you bike, don't you? But, if you don't care, look on the www.schwinn.com website and find a Schwinn dealer near you.

Schwinn Scotch bike. Can't get the front wheel on. Have removed 1 nut and 1 washer from each side but the forks will not fit down onto the "screws" almost as if the forks are not set wide enough.

Stand the bike on seat and handlebars.
Have somebody steady the bike.
Bend the forks outward with both hands as you lower wheel into place.

Looking for manual that comes with Schwinn 700c Trailway Hybrid Model #S5984TGA. Somehow mine is missing for my new bike.

I got a a phone number from Schwinn to call about getting a new manual for my 700c Trailway Hybrid Model #S5984TGA. I do not know what happened to mine. It is either around the house or got in the recycle bin by accident.

I may be back in contact depending what they offer. I am still looking for my manual.
