It's usually the flexible pcb that connects the fascia to the main board that needs replacing, because the fascia opens and closes each time the ignition is turned on and off the connector flexes and eventually some of it snaps, sometimes if you pop the trim off you can see the snapped pcb on the bottom right hand side of your radio
I think that you gays have a problem that calls flat cable that connects the main unit with the black rotary display it costs about 10-20 usd and it is very flexible and thin. the flat cable brakes at the place where it connects the external black display,you should try to look how the condition of the cable is you can contact me at email@example.com regards
