Question about Dryers
The timer might be bad and the part # for it is 306040
it is safe to clean it when it is not plug in , just be cearful not to move the wire from the place they in.
if it is not big problem dont replace the timer its 100$+ so live it till the unit die ... it is old unit any way...

Buzzer comes on because the control senses that the door is
not closed and won't start the cycle. This issue is caused by door switch-latch
assembly (part#6 and part#9 in this diagram) that is bad and should be replaced.
