Hello, sounds like the sound module has gone. You will need to get it replaced, shouldnt cost too much.Always get a couple of estimates before you decide on which repairer to get. If you like you could try running the sound out from tv to a stereo and see if you get sound, your manual can guide you through it, I hope I have helped.

Possibly an HDMI compatibility problem. Try another HDMI lead. Check for software update on TV.

Venturer Tv to Sky

It sounds like your TV is on the wrong input. Look for a button that says input or source. Depending on the TV this will either provide an onscreen menu to select an input or it will simply scroll through the inputs. Turn on the Sky box and run through the inputs until you see something that looks like your Sky Box.

LE46M86BD SAMSUNG LCD Picture issues (turning off after 5 secs)

you will need a tech to isolate the fault. could be power supply board or the main board but I suspect it is the lcd panel itself that is failing.

When setting my dish for sky i have a great quality and signal but the ID number coming up on my sky box is 13e instead of 002

Hello John,
http://www.dishpointer.com/ is a good web site just incase your hitting the wrong satellite your wanting to line this upto 28.2e Astra.

If after doing this the ID does not work then it may be worth forcing a download onto the sky box.

If you not familiar in how to do this, then follow these steps. turn the power off to the sky box or unplug from the back of the box itself. Then what i want you to do is hold down the Backup button on the front of the box. then reinsert the power or turn back on. while you have the backup button pressed in.

Hold this button down until all the lights on the front of the box illuminate. You should now see on the the screen a warning message come up informing you not to disconnect the power or the sky cable.

This takes approx 10 minutes to do this. It takes longer if you watching this so make yourself a Cuppa.

Hope this helps you out.

Red and white are only Audio ports.

IF there is a scart port plug your av receiver into the scart. Take note on which number your on ie channel there should be several numbers you can choose on your tx/rx then go down stairs to your sky box and ensuring that you are on the same number as the one upstairs.
Then just plug it into the back of your sky Box.. the number on your sender are incase your getting interfearance from other sources in the home. have a play with this and see what works best

Hope this Helps

Intermittent loss of sound

hpesoj the problem comes from the satellite in the sky, too many bits of data for your chassis, only fix involves adding a capacitor to the microprocessor, note that if the modification is done your closed captioning will no longer work, but it`s the only thing that will stop it other than un-plugging the ac cord waiting for a short time and then re-apply the cord, which you have already found out, any local tv tech should be aware of this "so called fix" give them a call, good luck, BMW Rider
