How do I clean a Dyson DC 23 so it will pass quarantine inspection when moving overseas (to New Zealand)

you will to ontact the customs office in Kiwiland for that answer. In most cases cleaning the hopper in warm soapy water and buying new filters is enough. Some places require a hospital grade detergent such as wESCODYNE be used to include the air hose(s). Please beware, the AC power in AU/NZ is 230 VAC, so you will need a step down power transformer to use it there. (You'd be better off just buying a new one there to be honest, then you needed worry about lugging a heavy power transformer around of changing the plug end to the Clipsal type used in AU/NZ.)

What wires goes on Load and Line. on a clipsal rotary light dimmer

In normal house wiring, 110 vac, the black lead is considered the "hot" or line lead and the white one as the neutral. When wiring to a variable resistor, the variable lead normally goes to the load so the voltage can be changed and the other lead to the "line."

Clipsal IP56 24hr timer switch system for pool pump. The 24hr timer isn't working. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong or the timer is faulty. I'm just guessing on how it works, so it's lik

If the timer dial does not keep the correct time then the timer unit is faulty and needs to be replaced.
There are gears in the timer unit that trip the ON and OFF time settings.
From what you describe it appears you have a faulty timer.

There are RF remote extenders available on the market but I have had mixed success with them.
The best system is a hard wired system (either 1 that uses a CAT5 Cable connecting the receiver/transmitter or a unit that splices into the Coax and uses that as a transmission line).
Some brands to look for that may be available to you is Xantech, Clipsal - Not overly cheap or easy to install but they WORK RELIABLY with nearly all manufacturers IR remote protocols

I have an existing ceiling fan with a three speed controller. The low speed setting was too high so I have engaged an electrician to install a variable speed controller, Clipsal 32E500F Series. The new...

some manufacturer already attached a variable speed controller when you purchased them, meaning the unit requires this control, but in your case when you purchased it, it does not have any, meaning they sell it to the market as ready to use, so why install additional control?

There might be an installation error during the assembly, so all you have to do is just interchange the wire connected to the control from LOW, MEDIUM and HIGH, it is a trial and error thing but it won't affect or damage your unit, maybe your high speed connection was connected to a low speed control, so just inter-change it. Remove the variable speed control
