You could just use check designer to make all of your checks and print them. Then use them in Quickbooks as needed for check runs as if they are pre-printed from the bank.

I work for Intuit (QuickBooks) and there are ways to program both to run together but it is not without faults and changes in order to keep it going correctly. In my opinion you would be better if using the method above.

Hello,
You may have to kill these processes before you do an uninstall / repair. Press ctrl + alt + del and select the processes tab. Find anything that says quickbooks or intuit. You could also look for the process ID's you posted. When you find them highlight each and press end process.
Intuit also offers this tool: QuickBooks_Clean_Install_Utility.exe

Why is this happening This issue can occur as a result of uninstalling the Google Desktop installed by Quickbooks on a computer running Microsoft Windows Vista. Launching QuickBooks after uninstalling Google will cause the error message.

Note: This issue is also known to occur with computers that have been upgraded from Windows XP to Windows Vista, where Google Desktop was uninstalled under Windows XP. Both cases would yield the same error message.
How to fix the problem This issue was resolved in the latest release for your version of QuickBooks.
Detailed Instructions Please update your program to the most current release.

Error message Library not registered

I got the message "Line 25: Library not registered" after uninstalling QuickBooks Pro 2009 and trying to run my old version of QB Pro 2006.

(I had installed 2009 version to upgrade my QB2006 Pro version but got into problems with multicurrency support not being supported in the Canadian QB Pro 2009.)

Fix is VERY easy and I think it applies to anyone trying to run an older version of QB Pro after uninstalling a newer version.

Fix is to find the file "reboot.bat" located in the program files associated with the older QB version.
In my case it was found in "C:/Program Files\Intuit\QuickBooks Pro" folder.
Just double click on the file to run it. This file tells the system where parts of the QB program are located including the DLL libraries it needs. After running this file you should be able to run your old QB version OK. No rebooting necessary.

Free quickbooks on-line tutorial

Before you uninstall try this Quickbooks link: http://community.intuit.com/quickbooks It is a steep learning curve at the beginning but easy to master in the long run. If you still want to uninstall just go to Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs and choose to remove :) Steve Medley
