Not printing straight

Hey. My printer and photocopier is not printing straight. There is about a 3mm difference from the top to the bottom of a A4 page. What do I need to do?

Cheers Kel

The problem was the back casing was slightly loose on the back of the printer, Once I corrected this, then everything was okay.

in printer just put your envelope portrait position, then set your paper setting into envelope size in your laptop or PC and just print it

in photocopy machine just adjust the input tray into envelope size than put envelope printed face up, and just print it

I have Canon ImageClass MF5750 and been having problem with paper size issue.it usually stop printing or photocopying and ask me to check paper setting even though the setting is looks okay(paper size

Make sure that the document you print is set to A4 or Letter, dependent upon the printer setup. If you try to print to the wrong size of paper, the printer will stop.

Hp officejet j4580 alignment sheet

If you are in the USA then an A4 should be 8.5 inches by 11 inches

So measure 4.25 across a sheet of paper at the top and again at the bottom , draw a line between them

Measure 5.5 inches from the top on one side and again on the other join those lines up you now have a sheet of paper with a cross on it

Photocopy some of off the original and use them to check out the printer.

If you are in any other part of the world the sizes are 210mm x 297mm

Mediface label printer has a built in section to print off such calibration sheets see if you can get an evaluation copy

How to photocopy double sided A4 sheets?

Hi,

you copy first side normaly. then on left side open bypass deck.Put the paper, so that the side on wich you want to print is down. Automatically when you put paper in bypass, the machine ask you wich format is it ( eg. A4 ), confirm with OK, then you need to tell machine wich type of paper ( eg. plain paper ) and OK. then green copy key.

Vertical lines slanted on photocopier

Is it the same result when you place the original on the glass as when you use the Automatic feeder? If copy is straight when you use the glass, then the rollers on the feeder need cleaning (with a damp cloth) -Lift the cover where paper feeds and clean grey rollers, also, and more importantly, clean the darker roller which has a plastic white roller pressed to it with a heavy spring assembly.
If copies are slanted either way you make a copy, make sure to check the paper guides in the tray are snug

Check the paper size within the menu as sometimes causes this fault.

Non-printing gap/line down page

Hey Danzo, This error is usually caused by dirt (usually toner) on the laser lens. There should be a cleaner pad somewhere on your machine (though I am not totally familiar with Oki) that will wipe across the lens. If there is no pad, you may have to find access to the lens and wipe it manually with a tissue or similar
