Make sure you connect the batteries correctly, if it does not work then it can be due to an internal problem in the remote control... take it to the engineer..

If there is a wall switch, make sure it's in the on position. Try changing the frequencies in the transmitter & receiver. You might have a bad receiver.

Remote control not working. batter is powered and led light up but does not change channel, volume up/down etc,

You will need to check the remote for IR emission with a tester Only if confirmed can it be confirmed if the IC is working , is out of frequency or the crystal is faulty.
So solder all the above items in the remote and check,
If working the fault can also be in the detection inthe TV.

Remote does not work , changed batteres still no go. Batteries were tested.

Try a universal remote. If the uni. works then you now you have a bad remote control. If it doesnt work then the problem is with the VCR. remote sensor. As cheap as VCRs are now a days, not worth the fix.

Changed batteries and now remote won't work

sometimes if the batter is of expired stock then also it does not work.also try to clean the contacts in the sockets where u insert the battery.if still does not works then its quite possible that the internal circuit of the remote has gone the remote now needs replacement.

Changed batter remote start not working

Hello, What has happened is your remote has lost its programming.. Just like with most electronics, when something is reset or powered off, or even when the battery dies ....the programming software is lost. The remote has to be reprogramed either by a dealer (suggested) or by an aftermarket outsource..Hope this helps...This could help with almost all remotes.
