Hi you just need to take off the burners and soak them in soapy hot water and clean them thoroughly, clean all the little cracks and holes, dry very good and put back on should be good as new.

What can I do to fix my Wirlpool Gas Oven? Mo. # WFG361LVB

i would check my oven gas safety valve first

· Gas ovens / stovetop that use gas and not electricity. These work by igniting gas and use actual flame on the the stovetop.
· Newest cook top styles, such as the induction or halogen cook tops combine the same style to produce more even heating. Some of these ovens feature thermal limiters or thermostats that regulate the burner system. GAS OVENS 1)The spark igniter tip is dirty (can clean it with either a little wire brush or a piece of fine sandpaper).

2) The Pilot flame is too low, and the tip of the igniter is not in the flame good enough. (the flame acts as a circuit when it touches the tip & completes the circuit).

3) The spark module is no good and needs to be replaced.(But 1 & 2 are your best bet).
spark module does not sense the flame when it's on. The spark igniter is also the flame sensor which provides feedback to the spark module.

Make sure the igniter is properly aligned with the burner lighting holes and it is clean. All lighting holes must be clean too. You can enlarge them using a drill bit one size bigger.

If it would not fix the problem, replace the bake burner and the igniter.

There is a small chance for the spark module itself to be bad as well.

ELECTRIC OVENS:

CHECK THE OVEN RELAY CONTROL BOARD Aclicking sound could be something wrong with a relay. Check for any loose connections around the main control board on your oven. The click you hear is a relay losing power and switching back on. If the clock resets then something is causing power interruptions to the board.

Gas oven flame yellow not blue like grill and hob rings.Flame is floppy and laboured and doesn't shoot up when turned up,could this be the thermostat Regards F Daley

Normally not the thermostat. Blue flames signify that the gas is burning clean, a yellow flame signify that some contaminate is burning with the gas. I would guess that something has leaked onto the burner or you have some corrosion build up. Try taking it out and giving it a good cleaning with a soft bristled brush and see if that is any better.

Fridgatare modle #FGG3054KFB I have a frigidaire range that has been converted to propane. When the oven is turned of it has a strong propane smell and there is alot of moistier inside. The flame is about...

It shouldn't be burning yellow and emitting soot at all;sounds like on of these possible causes-
(a)blocked burner airways(this can lead to yellow tipping and sooting on LPG powered appliances because insufficient air is getting through to the burner causing it;you can also get this effect on LPG barbecues say if dead insects or spiderwebs are in the burner pipes and airways after a period of storage),
(b)incorrect aeration being set when the burner was converted using LPG jets(too much gas and not enough air causing yellow flames/smells and sooting),
or (c) if you use propane cylinder gas a dicky or faulty regulator. I would get it looked at investigating all the possibilities I mention and taking action to correct this where necessary ie clearing the burner airways(if this is causing your problem), adjusting the aeration in the burners until you get a clear noiseless blue flame without any excessive yellow and sooting(but even after good adjustment you may find still get a very slight yellow tip without sooting at the top of the flame;this does happen with propane gas and there is a slight tendancy for this to happen more often with butane-butane tends to display very slight yellow tips on ignition increasing slightly as the burner warms up to full temperature) or if you use propane cylinder gas replacing the regulator if that is necessary.

My ovens flame is completely a dark yellow is this normal? my cooker is a cannon thankyou

no,this flame is like this because either the flame orfice is dirty or the burner is dirty or the unit isnt getting enough air mixture to completely burn the gas and this will lead to a yellow flame instead of the normal blue flame

Kenmore oven doesnt bake

Can I assume that you determined that the bottom burner flame is burning properly? To do this, remove the oven bottom insert. The flames should have approximately 1" of blue cone and should burn with no yellowing tip, if on natural gas. (A small yellow tip on the end of the outer cone is normal with most LP gas.) The flmaes should not lift off the burner ports. If the flame is lifting, gradually reduce the air shutter until the flame stabilizes.

If the burner bar has an adjustable slider for increasing or decreasing air into the bar. That would be it. If not then there is a defect with the gas valve or burner bar.

It sounds like your not getting enough air mixed in with the gas.if you can't adjust for more air make sure you were not supposed to change the spuds that feed the gas on the lower units.
