What hardware have you replaced? do you hear a beeping sound? try removing everything (HDD, DVD/CD/FLOPPY/)except the proc, video card and mem on the motherboard and try to boot. check if it will give you bios. if it still the same, do an isolation test. the main reason why its not responding is your computer doesnt complete POST. POST is one of the process the computer do to test all the hardware that is connected on the motherboard, if one fails and POST doesnt complete, you wont see the BIOS startup screen. Theres a lot of possible fault on this concern. since theres a lot of things connected on the motherboard

Your pc may be set to stsndby or sleep mode instead of shutdown. Have a look at control pamel, power settings and change to shutdown when turning off.

My sony vaio turns on the vaio sign flashes up, then nothing else happens. It sounds like its doing something but stays on greyish screen, no cursor shows. Then all off a sudden it justs restarts itse

Sounds like your having issues with your OS (windows or equivalent). This could be cause by virus/malware not being "treated" or with a critical update install failure. Do you have your OS original CD? Go into Enter Setup when the HP logo comes up by pressing the F function button it shows at the bottom of the screen under the HP logo. Look for Boot Options and make sure that your OS CD or bootable USB is the first one in the boot list. Save and exit. It will boot from your external drive (CD/USB key) and will you the option Repair. Try that and let me know!

EMachines eMD620 suddenly shutdown and not boot anymore

When this happened was the laptop overly hot? If the laptop's head got too high it could have shutdown to protect itself. It wouldn't boot until the heat had disparate. Sit you laptop aside for about 30 minutes and see if it will boot then. If it does you might want to check out a cool mat.

Power light flashes on and off but will not turn on. Dell Lattitude c600. Was working then all of a sudden now won't start. Tried reseating RAM and HDD but to no avail. Any ideas

Try this quick fix: Unplug the power, remove the battery and then hold the power button for 30 to 60 seconds. Then reattach the power and attempt a boot. Then shutdown your computer and put the battery pack back in.

If that doesn't work, it could most likely be the cause of electrical shorts. Check to make sure that there are no frayed wires or cables inside your computer, and if any are found, replace them.

Electrical shorts can also be caused by something, like screws, coming in contact with the motherboard or other hardware. Pick up your computer case and really gently shake it side to side. A screw may have come loose in the case and is rolling around in it, so you will hear a rattling sound if that's the case. A few light shakes will usually knock it loose and onto the bottom of the case.

Your computer's power supply may have failed. Test your power supply for failure (use a multimeter or power supply tester if you know how to). Or take it to your local PC Repair shop to get it tested. Do not try to fix a power supply yourself without experience- it is highly dangerous. For instructions on how to use a multimeter, contact me (email address at bottom of message).

Hope this helps!

Whilst on the rinse cycle, it just keeps on filling with water and does not stop. If I am out, it is just waisting water all of a sudden. I have to physically turn the dial to Spin for it to stop filling...

Easy fix, no parts needed mate. Simply look for a loose hose going to the water level switch. The small vacuum hose from tub to switch vibrates off from time to time OR sediment gets into the tube where it attaches at the base of the tub. Remove the hose at the switch in the control console and blow through it to clear any blockage and reattach firmly. Remove the water and retry. With any luck the washer will resume normal duty's. Good Day!

System won't complete the RESTART process

Do a check disk (chkdsk) using either:

1) Go to My Computer > right click on the drive with windows that won't boot > click properties > go to tools tab > click error checking > tick both boxes and click check now > it will say windows needs to restart, allow it too.

OR

2) Boot up using the installation disk... I will need the OS version (XP, Vista etc.) to tell you how to do that.

For solving blue screen error

HP Notebook PCs - "Windows Unsafe or Sudden Shutdown" Blue Screen Error Occurs During Startup or Boot

Description
Windows XP may not start and the following error message may appear on a blue screen:
Windows Unsafe or Sudden Shutdown
This error occurs after Windows was not shutdown using a safe method. The notebook may have been turned off without clicking Shut Down or briefly pressing the computers Power button. The power may have been suddenly disconnected from the computer or the Power button may have been held for more than 5 seconds.
An unsafe shutdown can damage some of the Windows system files, preventing the computer from starting properly.
Solution
If the error occurs allow the operating system to complete a check of the hard disk. Windows will prompt your to run CHKDSK. CHKDSK scans the hard drive for damaged files and repairs the files if necessary. The scan may take up to an hour depending on the size of the hard drive and the number of damaged files. The computer will restart when the scan is complete and Windows should start normally.
If Windows will not start or the computer will not boot after the scan is complete see: HP Notebook PCs - Troubleshooting a Startup or No Boot Problem (In English)

No boot or bios or display at turn on.

I had exactly the same problem with my kids PC last week, also an Asus on an AMD flatform. I reset the BIOS and clean install the OS and now its working fine. You have to reformat the harddisk, cause in my case it doesn't show its exact capacity when I it hooked it up as slave drive with my own PC. Maybe a virus did it.
