The software identified is for a different webcam - I suggest you uninstall that software and go to the philips support website and download new software. Put webcam in "find your product" and If you look under the searchbar, on the next page it tells you how to find the number for your cam

you need to locate your Laptops/Computer model number ( usually on the laptops Underside ) go to the manufacturers website ( support-Drivers ) And see if they have an application/Package to download for The web-cam.

Sorry to hear that. One of the main reasons I am on this site is to help with people that arent quite as computer savvy as some of us self proclaimed nerds.
Just go to the company's website that made your web cam and download a new driver(the program that makes your webcam work with your computer). You can usually download this program free of charge straight to your computer. My suggestion to you would be to also save this download to a disk so that you will have the disk once again and can use your webcam on other computers, good luck!
P.S.
Make sure you get the exact download for you webcam i.e. model no. and so on because if you don't your webcam may not work properly.
