Question about Nokia Mirafone OP201 Phone

4 Answers

I have a Nokia 3110c, and whilst transferring music from my PC to my phone, the phone switched off due to low battery. I then charged the phone and it reacted normally, until this morning when the phone will no longer turn on, but will still charge. Any ideas how to get it working again? Thanks for your help in advance.

I have nokia 3110 c too. The music player in nokia 3110c read some kind of codec or what ever in the music file, when u update the library or u turn the phone on. If something happen with the music file, (it usually because by the music player from computer) the phone will cannot read it, so it will restart. And read it, and restart again and again. What to do is, open your memory card by card reader and delete the music file that u have put in it. Then its done, don't forget to reinstall the music player at your computer.

I have had problems from running my phone during low battery these smart phones store a copy of their firmware in no volatile ram that can be corrupted during low power or loss of power. this is why you should always turn your smart phone off before removing the battery.
Try a Hard  reset

This will wipe the phone of contacts and photos and calender entrees.
also a hard reset can be performed by. turning the phone off, holding *, 3 and the Green call button and powering the phone up. keep holding the buttons until the phone makes it start up tone. At this time you will be prompted to re setup your phone.
Also the phone will not start if the battery I not able to provide enough charge. if you have run it that flat before then it will likely to fail prematurely

I use nokia 3110c. When starting music player it shows

You did not mention the error message but it seems that it was "no music files found".Here let give you the solution, first download and install Oxycube to your pc.Open the Oxycube interface and at the same time connect your phone via USB by selecting PC suite. After your phone is connected properly selec the C Drive of your phone which will be shown at the bottom of the Oxycube interface.Select the folder name "Hidden folder" and again there you'll see db music .....delete all the files with the pre-fix of db .Remove USB Restart or Restore your phone and open the music. If there is no other software problem this trick will perfectly work. But if possible before you Restart your phone scan the mmc or use mmc of less than 1GB.because according to Nokia 3110c supports only 512 mb of mmc. However,if this trick doesn't work the only solution is to flash the phone, so if you want to do it Click here1 ...and the flash file of 3110c file is here.Good luck thanks for visiting fixya

Nokia n73 mobile Set dead

Check the battery and adaptor voltage. If this is faulty then the battery may not charge . Also check the voltage on the charging pins in the phone. If low then there are issues in the mother board charging circuit.
If the battery is good then it is possible that the mother board is faulty- specially when there is no life on switch on.

Phone continues to display "welcome please wait..." I can't turn it off and I get no dial tone.

I have found this is cause by one of two problems: 1) the transfer button has been hit and it is waiting for anther unit to pick up. 2) (and most likely the problem) the battery is low on charge.
with case number 2 if your battery is at the end of it's life it will only keep a charge for a short time. it might even say it has a full charge but it does not. I have tested this out by switching the battery and then finding that the handset works fine. I hope this helps you.
