that means that either the print head is damaged or its clogged,it needs to be cleaned or replaced

- I would however caution that you need some mechanical skill to dismantle ,reassemble or replace the print head because the alignment of the parts is critical.

- print heads get clogged if printing is infrequent you can try print head cleaning which involves a cleaning process first, and then possibly flushing which corrects severe nozzle clogging. Check your manual for methodology or the operation panel when you select properties for your printer.
