Apparently the fax can be set to receive only

If you require printed confirmation that your faxes weresuccessfully sent, follow these instructions to enable fax confirmation beforesending any faxes. The default fax confirmation setting is Off. This meansthat a confirmation report is not printed for each fax sent or received. Aconfirmation message indicating whether a fax was successfully sent appearsbriefly on the control-panel display after each transaction. 1.Press the (Setup) button.
2.Press right arrow to select Print Report, and then press OK.
3.Press right arrow to select Fax Confirmation, and then press OK.

Followup the steps to setup the printer to send/receive fax.

Connect the phone line ( wire ) to Line 1 Ext at the back of printer port.
The connection is from the Phone socket to printer.


Press the Auto-Answer button on the front panel of the printer to enable automatic fax receiving.
If your no. of rings on voice mail or Answering machine is 4, you need to set 6 Rings to Answer on printer to receive the fax or else the printer will start accepting all the voice mail calls.

Press the Setup button on printer front panel
Scroll till you find Basic Fax settings Or Advanced Fax settings - Press OK
Choose the option Rings to Answer - Press OK
Set the No. of rings. - Press OK

Your printer is ready to send/receive Fax.

To receive a fax, first check to see if your telephone line has the capacity to send and receive faxes, a "conventional modem" sometimes is necessary, that may have changed with VOIP . Make sure to configure printer for faxing and that the Fax icon appears in the Printer/Fax window.. Follow all the basic set up steps to configure Fax, making sure all options are set correctly to enable where required. You might call your local phone company and ask them what you need to hook up a fax capable printer...or ask the manufacturer for the specifics of configuration for faxing.

For that you have to enable auto answer in your printer.
For that go to printer menu settings there you find option for enable auto answer in fax settings.
then it automatic receive fax.

I don't think there's a log you can print but you can do the following. Not quite what you want, but better than nothing...

You need to set the fax confirmation option to log faxes before you send anything. The default option is off, so you won't be able to get a fax log for anything you've already sent unfortunately.

1. Press Setup
2. Press 2 then press 1. This displays the Print Report menu
3. Select Fax Confirmation
4. Press to highlight one of the following, then press OK

use the print menus option in information, it should show the menu path settings

try to check the fax recieve settings don't enable the junk fax option and change the paper size to A4
