The safest way to correct this issue is to remove the battery, and then let the laptop air dry.

You could try additional speakers. You can buy PC speakers fairly cheaply or perhaps a friend has some you could try first. Laptop speakers are notoriously low in volume and let's face it they don't usually give you quality sound.

i do not know how much of the truck went under the water if the computer on the passenager side under the glove box got wet and maybe while you are having problems let it dry out on it own for two days and if you still having this problem you may have a short in you computer and here is a place that sells only GM parts Schram auto & truck parts the number is 1-800-292-1032

Water dispenser wont shut off


Something from the filter went into the dispensor valve and is holding it open. You can try to backflush it with a can of air by disconnecting the filter pushing open the valve while holding the can straw tightly while discharging it. You could also backflush it with water.

the water coming in is because your heater core went bad and when they go bad they leak in to the car so you will need to have it replaced

reach inside your d/w and jiggle the mushroom shaped float switch located on floor of d/w. should move freely up and down if its stuck up(or something lodged under it your unit wont fill with water
