Try reinstalling Wireless Lan drivers. If you don't have CD, download it from here: http://dlsvr04.asus.com/pub/ASUS/EeePC/1000HA/WLAN_GE780.zip

Hi, i am trying to connect my ASUS WL500g to my linksys WRT54G, but not able to do that. Is there anyone who has used this configuration to get the wifi on both the routers, then plz help me asap. For your...

Your only mistake here is what port you are using on the ASUS. Only modems connect to the WAN port. Connect one of the Linksys LAN ports to one of the ASUS LAN ports. What you are essentially doing is using the ASUS as a wireless access point rather than a router. Additionally, you may have problems if you try to use the same wireless network name and password on both devices. Better to assign a different one to the ASUS and just let devices connect to whichever signal they find strongest.

Review Asus Eee PC 1101 HA

asus-eee-pc-1101ha.jpg The Eee PC 1101HA netbook with a 11.6-inch display. For this and its characteristics could be defined almost a notebook. Obviously, a larger than normal netbook weighs more, but the Asus Eee PC 1101HA is a netbook with mobile calling. Asus Eee PC 1101HA promises up to eleven hours of PA3420U-1BRS battery life, thanks to the Intel Atom Z520 chip.
Homes and Design
The Eee PC 1101HA has the same form "shell" 1008HA Asus Eee PC. The case is polished and its shape makes it particularly elegant netbook. We noted that despite the gloss paint handprints not remain imprinted on the case easily. This Asus Eee PC 1000H is available in white pearl, black and pink crystal.
The hinges Eee PC 1101 HA self-locking (no mechanical locking) but well hoods that limits the opening angle to a maximum of 130 degrees, this makes little netbook fittings for use legs. The screen however is quite stable.
Autonomy
Asus EeePC 1101 declares that HA is able to provide even eleven hours of VGP-BPS2C battery life. Indeed, the netbook can reach eleven hours, but with the six-cell DV1000 Battery and without Wi-Fi active since our test Eee PC 1101 HA has worked from time to time reaching autonomy of 10, 48 hours. The test was performed with a non-intensive use and without wireless enabled. With wireless enabled netbook's Inspiron XPS M1710 battery life decreases by about three hours.
Weight and Dimensions
The amp 11.6-inch display makes the netbook a bit 'pesantino (1.38 kg) obviously increases the overall dimensions: height 21.80 cm, width 28 cm, depth 19.60 cm.
Judgement
Cast a netbook for mobility, thanks to long HP dv4 Battery life, good performance that does not disdain. We can define Eee PC 1101HA netbook complete. In fact, the hardware equipment enables to easily perform common office work in comfort. With excellent value for money (currently about 360 million) this netbook is among the best in its class.

Asus 4g will not connect with netgear router using WPA-PSK Protected access Pre-shared Key

Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on your computer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = password You can now change the default admin password and configure the wireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2 encryption to protect your wireless network and Internet from unauthorized access.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.
To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My acer aspire one wont connect to internet. it says it is connected to wireless, and i have wired it to modem but the problem still persists. please help.

Based on your description, the following is assumed.
1. The service to your Internet Service Provider is through a cable or DSL modem.
2. Internet service was initially set-up with your netbook directly connected to the modem.
3. A wireless router was since added and is using the direct wired connection to the modem.
4. The netbook is connected to the wireless access point being provided by the router.
5. The netbook says it is connected to the wireless access point but still no internet access.
The problem is likely due to the modem capturing the MAC address of the netbook when access to the internet servce was initially set up using the netbook directly connected to the modem and now the modem will only allow access with the netbook directly connected to it. You can check this out by reconnecting the netbook directly to the modem. It may be possible to "flush" the captured MAC by unplugging the AC power to the modem, waiting a few minutes and then powering back up with the router connected in place of the netbook. To make it easier, you may want connect your netbook directly to the router's LAN side to check if you now have internet access through the router. If you still don't have internet access, you will need to use your netbook to log onto the router to clone your netbook's MAC address for the router's WAN connection. The router's user guide/manual has directions on logging in and doing the MAC address clone. It will also have an explanation as to what is a MAC address.

I cant connect to my wireless router

To install your wireless router connect a LAN cable from the router to the computer's LAN port.
Open a browser and type the router's configuration URL
Then login
You can now configure the wireless settings.
These wireless settings need to be used to configure the wireless card in your computer so it can connect to the router.

To configure the wireless settings and to protect your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

Netgear WGR814v2 does not see my ASUS 1005HA-P netbook, but the netbook sees the the Netgear wireless network but cannot connect .

To connect into your own Netgear router, you need to configure the wireless card with your router's wireless configuration settings, eg.the SSID and encryption settings. Check your router manual on how to configure the router or go to the Netgear WEB site to download this info.
To configure the Netgear router for wireless you need to connect a LAN cable from the laptop to the router and run your browser with the configuration IP address. for Netgear type the URL address ;-
http://192.168.0.1
the login = admin PW = password
Then configure the SSID and encryption, record this info so you can configure the wireless card with the same settings.

You can also connect to the Internet by using a LAN cable and plug it into the Netgear router without a wireless connection.

I am not able to properly set up my network with an ASUS Wl-500B

Both routers need to be on the same IP scheme and subnet i.e. 192.168.0.X subnet 255.255.255.0. First, unplug the Asus router. Next, make sure you have connection to the internet by hooking directly to the Apple router. Once you've established a connection to the internet plug the Asus router into the Apple router but go LAN port to LAN port.

You probably set an access list on your router
connect to Router using a LAN cable and check if you can browse.
Then
Check your access list on router.
Disable it if you cannot add your PC wireless adapter MAC address
