Power off the system, then power it back on and see if you can get to the desktop. If you can, then go to the screen saver settings and uncheck the "On resume, password protect" check box.
If you cannot boot into windows, then power off again, the power on and tap F8 to get the Windows Startup menu, select SAFE MODE and see if you get a login prompt, if you do select the username ADMIN with a blank password and see if you can get to Windows. If you do, go to control panel, user Accounts and remove the password from the user account.
If none of that works, then here is a last ditch alternative.
