Many sellers on eBay sell repair kits. Identify the speaker diameter and look around.

My right speaker has stopped working. Any work around this? by tearing it open?

Unlikely. Check the wiring and the plugs. If they are OK, then you will need to take them apart. The right one is the one that holds all the amplifier parts. The left one is just a speaker.

If you are in the market for new ones, I can recommend Bowers and Wilkins MM1s. They are pricey, but high quality, have a warranty and are repairable. I have been around the factory.

Hello,
The foam is molded, you can not remold / repair
If it is a small tear you can repair with a bit of rubber cement. Eventuly it will fail and more will tear causing the sub to sound very bad

Water leaking in front of washer mainly from what seems to be the gasket around front of washer.

Either the rubber boot is damaged in some way, or the door is not locking tight enough. Thoroughly inspect the boot for tears or gouges in the rubber surface. Small imperfections can be repaired with silicon glue, but larger tears will require replacement of the boot--which can be done done through the door opening, but requires patience to do so. Inspect the door lock for damage or wear if the boot looks to be in good condition.

Buzzing/humming noise that increases as you raise volume. So loud that you can not even watch tv

Hello snow1525,

You may have a torn speaker element. This is usually the cause of buzzing noise in the sound, also you may have a bad capacitor in your audio section. This is what I would suggest doing as a test open the front bottom panel of your TV and visually inspect the speakers for signs of ripping and or tearing in the speaker element. If the element or elements are torn it may be possible to repair it with rubber cement or rubber paste just coat the tear with the rubber cement to hole the torn edges together and allow it to dry for two days before testing the sound. If the speaker elements are not ripped then the problem may be a bad capacitor either in the audio section (power supply) or in the filter block (usually attached to the speakers to separate bass and treble signal to the speakers.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

That is called a suround my freind. depending on the exact size of the foam surround they are available with good instructions at many many places that do speaker repairs on-line. Heres one I have used in the past http://www.simplyspeakers.com/2doityourself.htm?src=overture Like I said there are tons of them available on-line. Simply search for speaker surround repair.
