Sears Lt5000 battery. How check?

All batteries need to be fully charged. It should hold about 12.3 volts. Amps is the important thing and if you have a ful battery, and the machine turns sluggishly, it means the battery is low in amps. This reduces over time and can only be tested with a special tester. Any Interstate shop or garage will test it for you free of charge.

Is it still charging while showing float/standby

Yes, it is still charging. When "float" is reached on a charger it means that it is charged and has reduced it's charging to "trickle" charging so that it can maintain it's full charge.

I left a 1960 sears battery charger plugeed into my fuly charged boat battery, how long before it is ruined?

should not damage the battery or the charger at all
battery chargers reduce the charge rate as the battery is charged up and it reduce to a virtual trickle charge to maintain any internal leak from a standing battery
just ensure that the electrolyte level i the battery is maintained

Battery light is coming but charging is 15.45

The light will come on if it over charges too ! all vehicles have computer controlled charging system now a days !
Regulated Voltage Control Explained Regulated Voltage Control uses information from the battery current sensor, calculated battery temperature and system voltage to determine what the perfect voltage to supply the battery with is. In addition to nurturing the battery into longer life by maintaining proper state of charge, RVC allows the charging voltage to drop below the 13.8 to 14.8 volts to which we're all accustomed. If the battery can maintain an 80% SOC with 13 volts at a particular temperature, why would we want to charge it at 14.8 volts?

Why doesn't craftsman mower tractor yt 3000 charge?

If the battery is below around 11.8 volts it never will charge. The charging systems on these mowers are made to "maintain" the charge. Check the battery, if below 11.8 volts charge the battery with a battery charger. Then see if the mower will maintain the level. If not, you may have a bad battery. Your local automotive store can check it for you.

How can I charge the jet ski battery?

All you need is a one trickle charger for the jet ski battery.

Notice that there is a risk of damaging the battery if charged too much. So you just need to use an automatic charging station that can charge the battery to a full power and afterwards maintains it with a trickle charge.

How long do you charge battery on child 4x2 12 Volt gator

What battery charger are you using and is it the battery it came with or a different one. Also is it a new battery is it drained or does it still have a good charge. All those things are factors. I have something similar and when the kids have drained the batter so that it wont move anymore then I have it charging for probably around 20 hours with the charger I use. I have a trickle charger and battery maintainer so it will charge it to full then turn off until it drains sufficiently to charge again, therefore maintaining the charge. If you dont have a battery maintainer I would suggest getting one your batteries will last longer and you can leave it on the battery for how ever long you want without worrying about it ruining the battery

Just want to know what the code FLO stands for kid lost the manual

The digital display shows "FLO" to indicate that the unit is in float charge mode. The battery "fully charged" icon will display on the LCD screen and the arrows pointing to the "+" and "-" will flash. In this mode, the unit monitors the battery voltage and charges as necessary to assure the battery maintains full capacity. The unit remains in float charge mode as long as the charger is connected to the battery and plugged into a functioning AC outlet. I hope this has answered your question.

I have a dell latitude d610 that will charge fine when it is not being used. When using the laptop on the charger it will maintain the level of charge but will not charge any further

I've never owned any other laptops besides Dell, but I know each one I've had wouldn't charge either when in use, just simply maintain and maybe even drop a little of the charge, depending on what programs I'm running. When you're using your Notebook, even on the charger, it's constantly going to be using the charge that's going in and how fast or slow it's used simply depends on what programs you're running.
