We have a jacuzzi corner bath which is fitted with a rotating selection which seems to alter the air/water temperature and mix coming through the jets. Recently when the dial is in one position we have a load of water coming from the outside overflow, when in the other position water constantly comes through the jets at a reasonably fast/constant dribble. This occurs if the jacuzzi has power or is switched off completely. I have tried to stop the flow of cold water to the jacuzzi by turning off the stopcock under the bath which stops the water coming through the overflow or jets but there is still a bit of a gurgle coming from the jacuzzi mounted in the roof. Any ideas what could be the problem? Cheers!

    Hi

The gurgle only occurs when the cold water is switched off completely. The unit is mounted in the loft space above the bathroom and when the cold water is switched off the gurgle comes from there.
I'm more worried about the constant cold water flowing than the gurgle tho (which goes away as soon as the water is reconnected)

Hello
Sounds like the mixing valve is bad.or rotating selection valve needs to be replaced, possible bad o rings.

The gurgle could be air in the system, which would be an indication of bad orings.

Hi,
According to your problem check all water passing areas. You have to check the pump, the channels of water passing. Check the jets may there is any fault. If there is any problem then repair or replace is recommended. Repair the leakage of pipes. You can also try to reset the control panel.

Hi, is the gurgle coming out direct from the stop **** or at the area of the pipes.I think there is a linkage some where around the pipes that needs to be blocked.

Please do contact a plumber that will help you block the linkage. Or you can ask them your plumber where you can buy what you can block the flow of water.
Like an ARADYTE Gum for plumbers use to seal up linkages.

Hope that helps.

Hi, to solve the solution, you will need to contact the service care service for jacuzzi corner bath makers i think they will help you out with the problem..it's still a linkage problem..

The reason why i said you should contact them is because, they will be able to get the parts to be replace very easily with out stress.. I think that will do.

Hot water heater has hot in tank but dose not come out of hot water line on tank

most electric hot water systems use a heat transfer process where the element is in one tank and the house water is in another
the house water is what is being drawn off when you turn on a tap
there is a regulator valve at the top of the tank with a small lever that you open up to let water in and air out of the system
another point is that there may be a hot/cold mixer on the hot water outlet which limits the temperature of hot water to prevent scalding injuries in the bath and shower or sink
If you have one fitted they are known to malfunction and cut the hot water temperature down as, they mix too much cold water into the hot water pipe.
have a plumber check it out

Water system leak

The suction cover will come off the wall fitting either by removing the screw(s) or by unthreading counter clockwise.
Once the cover is removed you can then access the wall fitting which sounds to me as if it may be broken. If you remove the wall fitting you need to put a small bead of 100% RTF silicone around the lip of the wall fitting before you thread it back into the fitting behind the tub.
Once you tighten that wall fitting up you can clean up any excess silicone mess with denatured alcohol.

Push button on my jacuzzi won't start it despite power going to unit

The air button on your tub may be bad and not sending enough air to the air switch located on the bath pump.
The way to check this is to remove the bath pump and see if you can turn the bath pump on by taking a large straw and blowing into the air switch on the bath pump to see if you can get the bath pump to turn on.
If the bath pump comes on then you know you have a bad air button.
If you cannot get the bath pump to turn on then remove the air switch and plug the two wires going to the air switch together and then plugging the pump into a power outlet you know has power.
If the bath pump comes on then you know you need a new air switch in the motor.
If the motor does not come on then you need a new bath pump.

I have a jacuzzi tub in my master bath, and it has started surging through the jets in about an 8 second interval. Also I have started noticing a little bit of water leaking from under the side of the tub....

Surging is caused when the pump doesn't have enough water to push to the jets. this is usually a problem caused by air being drawn into the suction of the pump.
take a look at the jet(s) facing the suction cover.
I have seen cases where the water with the air mixed in causing bubbles gets sucked into the suction of the tub and causes the surging because the pump is pulling in too much air.
try rotating the nozzle of the jet facing the suction away from it. point it another way. turn the air control knob closed and see if that is the problem.
the only other issue that could cause this 'surging' problem is a leak in the suction line and could be the source of the water you see under the tub.

Were is the starter switch located on corner jacuzzi tub

Depends on the make of your bath, alot of baths has a crome button on the corner of the bath, flush with the bath top. When you press this it pushes air through a hose and the pressure of the air hits a pressure switch on the motor which turns on the motor.

Stale water odour when jets havent been used on massage type spa

There are several cleaning methods on the internet. I would contact the maker of the tub and see if they have a cleaning agent. I know that Jacuzzi and Aquatic industries have a cleaner that works rather well. I have seen one on the net that uses 2 teaspoons of powder dishwasher soap mixed with bleach. I have not tried this one so don't know how well it works. The ones from the tub companies are not cheap, but if you want something that is going to do the job, spend the money.

Hello, how I remove the water from my whirlpool jacuzzi bath Balboa Z112 spa so I can clean it

hook up a garden hose to a faucet. Put the other end in your spa. Then turn on the faucetuntil water comes out the spa end of hose. Make sure the end in the spa is weighted down so it doesn't come out. Then remove the hose from the faucet and keeping it lower than the spa lay the hose where it can drain with causing problems. The water will flow on its own draining the spa. You may want to clean it while its draing so the dirty water will be diluted and drain at thhe same time. Make sure the water is not drained out around any electrical AND!!! NO DIVING!!!! If you lose the prime, just fill the hose again with the faucet. Good luck

The heater will only fire if it has water in it. If you just got the house, make sure the gas/electric to the heater is on. Turn off the pump and turn it back on.. See if that works. good luck
