Thanks for the tip but was not what I was looking for. The Clairion electric heater blower motor is a small 120 VAC motor used for air circulation on my clairion Model# HC-1500ET heater.

Thank you, I viewed the thousands of items on both sites and to no avail. Any other helpful suggestions will be welcome. The manufacturers part number is KM-16 120V/60Hz shaft size 1/8"dia x 1 3/8"long. Motor RPM unknown. The apparent culprit for this malfunction is its thermister part number M30 125 deg C and 11D? listed below that.(I tested the thermister and it registered as open. With the thermister out of the circuit the motor was able to operate. The thermister measures 1/2" square by approx 1/16" thick. If I you can help me find a replacement thermister I'll install it and hope for the best.

unfortunately the envelope and mounting dimensions are incompatible. I am trying to find a thermister or thermal protector that is rated for 115-120 VAC with a heat sensor rated at 125 deg celsius. The original is probably Chinese or Indian made so I have been tickling the search engines for a local supplier that has something compatible. Any suggestions on a supplier, I've already visited Granger, Global Spec, Avnet ?

The fan motor can be matched up to a generic motor more than likely. You can give the folks a call at the web site below, they carry 100's of motors for all types of home and commercial appliances.

We have no parts resources at this site, we are a technical assistance service and have no way to cross over part numbers. OK that said I suggest you call this company and give them the part number you have. Also check for local commercial electrical supplier in your area and also try appliance repair shops in you local area. You will need to do this search as I can't from here. Thanks.

I'm looking to buy a clairion convector 1500 used if possible don't have much money i live near Mont-tremblant quebec

Apparently, the model you're looking for has been discontinued by the manufacturer. Not sure of the reason why, but we've had a lot of problems posted here on FixYa regarding them. However, there are other models available, by a different manufacturer, that are very similar to the Clairion HC-1500. And they are not expensive. Good deals abound on Ebay. Search for one there under Convection Heaters (All Ebay Categories)

Hope this helps you find what you need.

It fell over and is no longer working

The tip over switch was activated. Turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to OFF and unplug the heater for 12-15 minutes. Then plug the heater back in and turn the Master ON/OFF Switch to ON and set the controls as you normally do. Hopefully, that 10-15 minute timeout, allowed the heater controls to reset themselves.

Take good care of that heater, as the manufacturer has discontinued that model.

Hope I was able to help you.
