Not possible to buy a tv LCD screen panel as a refurbish parts by any body else.Except buy it from LG tv corporation themselves.The tv LCD screen panel are 90% important to the tv functions and the cost.Replacing the tv LCD screen panel will cost the same as a new tv.Sorry it is time to buy a new tv.The tv with a damages LCD screen or broken LCD screen panel now only can used as a salvages tv for it electronic PCB boards for other tvs to used as spare parts that it.
It probably has a cracked circuit board. If you want to repair it on your own open it up and see if you can find where that cracked section is and see if you can resolder it back properly.

The set needs a new LCD if it looks cracked and swirly, the colors all run together in the area of the crack don't they! If it is cracked it can't be fixed. you can replace the lcd but I am not sure if a warranty will cover a cracked screen or not. You will need to contact LG and be very nice to them and see if they will honer the warranty on this.
Hmm, been there my son cracked ours, unfortunately the panel is ruined and usually it costs more to fix than to replace it. This is because the entire panel needs to be replaced, it can't be fixed.
Bad news.. you might as well go get a replacement TV. You can have it repaired using a TV Repair guy but often it costs as much as a brand new LCD. My daughter broke my $1,600 LCD. It would have cost $1,200 to fix.. so I just bought a new one.After that I picked up a TV screen protector called TV Armor http://www.tv-armor.com Its designed to protect the TV from damage. Now I dont have to worry anymore when she is playing near it. It works really well.
that is a cracked LCD display. Wierd if no one elbowed it or so.
You can try through LG to get a new display for the TV but it will not be cheap HERE is service manual for it
