HI depends on the brand, unless its extremely out of level, leveling will not fix the noise.

Is there an adjustment to tighten the refrigerator doors to stay open? Samsung refrig it is balanced.

You can adjust the front and back levelers that touch the floor so that the fridge tips forward just a bit. If you don't have a level, but do have a smartphone, there's a level built in, or you can download an app. Get some help adjusting the levelers -- fridges are heavy beasts.

How to adjust very noisy inflow and low water levels

Two distinct problems

Noisy inflow - reduce the water pressure by close the water isolation valve next to the toilet. Or buy a low noise cistern float assembly like the Torbeck. I have used these and they are good.

Water level is down to adjustment. If you buy a new valve, you will also get instructions how to get the correct level. How, is specific to each valve, but is with a screw.

Maytag MAH8700AWW noisy. Bearing?

In some cases it is a simple adjustment of the Levelers. Use a flat level device to check the levels from front to back and side to side. Make certain the Washer and Dryer have a space between them and they do not bang into one another.

VERY NOISY WHEN SPINNING WITH EVEN AND LIGHT LOADS

It is more than likely not level... put a level on the top north to south and east to west... adjust the legs by turning them to lower or higher the legs

Very noisy on spin cycle, not out of balance

Hi, check leveling of machine, machine should be proper leveled on all side, use spirit level to adjust legs, there should be no rocking motion, in any direction after leveling, put hands on top of machine and try to rock it sids to side, there should be no movements, also check for overloading, be careful when washing things like bath towels, etc, they absorb lots of water, eg. one regular bath towel are equivalent, to six pants, six tops. or possible springs or bushings broken, you need open machine and check.

Hotpoint wf620 aquarius very noisy and not letin any water in

A washer usually shakes or vibrates when it isn’t sitting firmly and level on the floor or because it has an out-of-balance wash load. First eliminate the possibility of the latter—adjust the load if it has scrunched up on one side of the tub. Then check the machine for solid, level support. For the machine to work properly, the floow must be flat, level, and strong enought to support the heavy, water-filled washer without deflecting under the load.

1) Unplug the washer.

2) Look under the washer, and make sure all feet are resting firmly on the floor.

3) Make sure the front legs have locking nuts to keep them tight and that the legs have rubber caps. If they don’t, buy these parts and install them.

4) Make the front feet as short as possible by screwing them up into the machine. Place a level on top of the washing machine and adjust the front feet slightly if needed to level the washer; do not fully extend them.

5) If necessary, tilt the washing machine forward. This will let the back feet self adjust. Recheck for level, and adjust the front feet again.

6) Plug in the machine, and run it empty through the spin cycle to see if it still vibrates.

7) If it does, call a repairperson or the manufacturer to ask about solutions.

Thanks for your question

Leveling old refrigerator

The refrig does not have to be level, as a matter of fact, they tend to work (doors on most refrig's) if the front is a bit higher than the back. If you pop off the lower grill, you will see that the front rollers have a bolt that runs up through the lower frame. Turning on the end of that bolt with a 3/8 inch wrench will allow adjustment of an inch or so, up or down, depending on where it is at now. Only the front rollers are adjustable this way. Back rollers would have to be shimmed to adjust. Check the door hinges to see if the hinge and corresponding hinge cam riser (WR2X4901) are worn. (these parts raise the door slightly as it is opened, and help close the door as the door drops back down when closing.)

I need help to level my kitchenaid fridge, and the owner manaul does not show this.

leveling refrigs, can be abit tricky, depending on level of floor especially, for the most part only the front 2 legs/wheels are going to be adjustable, the rears if need be will have to be chocked with wood shims . as a repairman for nearly 20years, i rarely "level" refrigs, , for the reason of who knows if the cabinets are level, or how level the floor is, i in turn make the refrig appear level and make sure its stable when the doors are opened and closed. not essential for level (shloud be close butno need to be perfect, id much rather a refrig tht looks good and doenst shake when door is closed, rathe then tryin to get it perfectly level and then seeing a 2 inch gap at top of cabint and flush against the bottom.
