Directv can't connect my tv to he, what can I do, they say I need a green plug in in the back,with the red, yellow, white

What I believe they are trying to tell you is you need to hook up into a component input . It is a video input only and it has three jacks usually coloured red green and blue. Match up the colours with the receiver and you will get an HD picture. They way you currently have it hooked up is a composite connection with only the yellow being for picture. This cannot get you an HD picture. The red and white is for the sound. I don't know what you mean by he though.

What are the color codes to this plug?

Black = AC hot
Red = switched AC hot
Yellow = AC hot from a another source - another control panel as an example.
White = neutral
red w/white tracer = switched neutral
Green or green w/ yellow tracer = ground/earth ground

blue = DC voltage, ie, 12vdc, 24vdc
white w/blue tracer = dc common

I need to know what all cords do I need to hook it up right and how does the theater system hooks up to the tv?

I couldn't find the manual for this model but below is the link for a DC-TS760 Manual which should give you enough information to enable you to connect it all together.

Easiest way is to just use a Scart Lead (and Audio Leads if your TV has an Audio Out) as detailed.

My dvd movies only plays in black and white.

are you using component video cables (red,green,blue) or composite (yellow,red,white)
most of the time if the blue or red cables from the component area seated firmly they cause the picture to be in black and white.

Philips theater system dvd/radio/surround sound

I need your exact model number of HTS, and the manufacturer and model number of your television to be of maximum assistance.

There are a couple possibilities:
1) you could have red, yellow, and whites plugged into the red, green and blue slots
2) If you have more than one output (S-video and red/yellow/white, for instance), the signal could be splitting - try unhooking one of the outputs (preferably the S-Video)

For a more detailed solution, send me your model/manufacturer of TV, and the model of Philips HTS.

Sanyo DVD Home Theater System DC-TS760

Change the TV.
I had same problem since 3 years after moving from dubai to bucharest i believed that my home theater was damaged during transportation. I tryed all repair shops in my area but no luck, so i used it as a simple mp3 player at home.

Last week, after 3 years, i changed my old CRT tv with an LG LS3000 lcd tv and SURPRISE...my dvd have colours again.

Pulsing screen

Are you getting this on all video outputs from the DVD? the yellow analog out + the red/blue/green + the S video? Did you try connecting a different source? a digital cable TV tuner, or another DVD player? sometimes DVD players get screwed on some outputs, while the rest stay fine. I have a DVD that has an analog video out that shows an only black and white picture, while the red/blue/green works fine. Good luck
