Just purchased a 3ds, connected it to our home wireless internet, but when we try to browse, we get "The Internet browser will be enabled later through a system update. For details, visit...

If you get an error message talking about internet coming in a later update, you will need to update your system. Here's how:

1. Make sure you're connected to the internet (as described above) and go into System Settings.
2. Go to "Other Settings"
3. Select "System Update".

If you received a 3DS that was boxed prior to Nintendo's recent update, it will not have the internet browser pre-installed, and this should fix the issue.

I am trying to connect my old gateway to an insignia ltdvd19. I have run a VGA cable from the pc to the VGA port on the side of the monitor and was given a "no support" message on the monitor. ...

The resolution of the video output is most likely not supported by the display you're connecting it to. The widows boot logo is a lower resolution then it switches to a higher resolution after that. Can you connect another monitor to the system at the same time? You could then adjust the resolution to the second monitor to a lower resolution until it starts working.
