Running slow pop ups all the time - Computers & Internet

Have you recently said ok to a pop up to help with your memory? If so its a bug program that will keep pestering you until you open up to them and let them in. Go to comodo .com and get the sweeper or the adware prevent . If not then your cache is low and you need to upgrade or clean out some temp internet or other files.

You more than likely have an infection. The problem is, removing an infection is a lot easier said than done. While your computer is running, so is the virus. And it would be like attempting to delete a picture, while you're looking at the picture. The computer will yell at you and tell you the file is in use. There are tons of guides on the internet as to how to easily remove a virus, but I will give you the short of it. If you don't have any antivirus active protection; Microsoft Security Essentials is free and pretty good. Download and install that. MalwareBytes and Spybot S&D (Search and destroy) are both fantastic at virus removal, but don't have active protection.
Download the three of these, install them, then restart your computer. As it is turning on, press F8 and then navigate to Safe Mode. Run all three scanners (not at the same time, and you might have to restart in between) and your computer should be much better off if this was the case. If this doesn't do much for your situation, at least you now have active antivirus protection.
Lastly you need to be VERY careful about the popups. Many of them advertise that your computer is infected and to buy "their" antivirus software. The problem is, that software is a scam and you will lose your money. And remember when you have big issues like running slow with popups all the time, you can always take it to a local tech shop if you're not comfortable with doing the work yourself. However this kind of repair can cost up to about $200.

Did you mean browser pop-ups? If so, uninstall unwanted add on and extensions.

Pop-up can be an alert or it can also be an update. In both cases you need to identify pop-up message.

You can speed up a slow slow running computer by:

-- cleaning system junk
-- optimizing computer services
-- optimizing internet
-- repairing registry
-- defraging registry
-- clearing browsers junk

do these things with some secure tool such as Intel Software Partner Reginout.

Thanks

How to fix computer problems for free

First make certain you have a virus program running and do a full scan. There are free ones around, most use AVG. You can get pop-up blockers, or look at internet options and select block pop ups.

Visit the following website called Black Viper. Follow the instructions and that should speed up your computer.

Sounds like a virus. Try installing Microsoft Security Essentials and Malware Bytes. Run those a few times and see if that fixes the problem. If it is still slow, reinstall windows.

Computer running slow.

First of all. you can try and delete your cookies.. and then ping your computer..
Go to the start button.. and then go to the run button.. and then when it pops up.. type "cookies" and a screen should pop up and then you highlight all the files that are in there and delete them.. make sure you dont delete the one called "INDEX" Leave that one in there.
But after you deleted the rest of the files, close it.. empty your recycling bin and then go back to start & then run and type "ping" do that like 3 times. your computer should run alot faster.
