I have Canon np 6035 that does dirty copies after my husband tried to clean the whole copier with air blow. We cleaned the drum unit (waste and cleaning blade) but it still does dirty copies. Any idea?

If the problem still exists after cleaning Drum unit, waste and cleaning blade, then surely you need to change the drum clean blade, because it is not anymore capable of work properly, it will not work and will still produce dirty copies even after you clean them.

Our copier seems to be bleeding toner on one side of the page? One side is darker and unreadable. Any thought as to why this might be?

Depending on what kind of copier it is, it sounds like your optics are dirty.

If you car technically minded do the following.

>Remove the power cord.
>Remove the platen/scanner glass.
>You should see around 3 mirrors on a 45 degree angle.
>Using a soft rag, clean these mirrors, make sure you clean the whole surface, get right into the corners.
>Re-install glass and power.
>Do a test copy.

You should be right to go.

Cannon 6035 - no immage on copy pages

Are you getting a totally blank copy or just very light. If I were you I would cheak to see that the developer Lock is in the right place. It seats right under the developping unit. It should be locked to the Left. It will move the developing unit closer to the Drum unit..Good Luck

Copies are not dark enough

No. This really needs to be done by a tech, it is quite complex, and the optics also should be thoroughly cleaned beforehand as well, in order for it to calibrate properly.

COPIES TOO DARK ON CANON COPIER NP6035

First of all did you clean the optic? How about did you replace all of the corona wires? Also, did you clean the scanning lamp as well? Also when you had fitted the new drum, did you use a brand new one or a different one, did you clean the drum with rubbing alc. If all that was done, do a "AE" adjustment in service mode using white paper on the copy board glass. Also, go to the addictional funcation mode and go to expossure adjustment and make it lighter. Or as a last effort adjust the corona hieghts of the primary corona wires. Good Luck...
