Simple test: disconnect the hdd and see what happens. If the pc no longer shuts down then yes, the hdd has died.

My Gigabyte Mother Board shows some time Load Optimized Defaults then boot / Load Optimized Defaults then reboot / enter BIOS. How to fix it?

Two things come to mind first. Number one would be making sure you have the most up to date bios. Number two would be that maybe the motherboard battery is dying/dead and isn't holding enough charge to after being shut down to save the option you selected.

No boot hd disk error

Hi,
HDD not Detecting only Some region, if you HDD data cable damage, HDD power Cable damage, HDD port damage, or HDD bad sector. But normally you change HDD data or power cable or mother board port. And i suggest mother board all connection disconnect and only HDD connect and open bios and search your HDD detected.

Ok turn my gate way 6520gz on it does its bios screen normally then it goes to the screen where i would press f11 for system restoration like normal, then it just shuts down. battery fully charged, mother...

Yes it may be. When you cut it on will your Cap Lock light come on? If it does most likely it is your Hard Drive. You also if you have a system bootable disk place it in your CD-Rom and see if you system boots to it. If it does then your hard drive has a failure or a Virus has ate your boot sector.

Powers on, Fan runs at high for 10Sec's then goes off, but no OS loading nor any visual activity on the Display.

your screen may be broken.
Do you see the BIOS message at the beginning of the boot up? If you don't, then the screen or the video card/circuit is dead

Asus k8s mx mother board problem

To get rid of this message at boot you must turn off the Chassis Intrusion detector feature. To do this you must restart the computer, as it boots press DEL to enter BIOS.
Under the SECURITY tab in BIOS select CHASSIS INTRUSION and select DISABLE.
Then select EXIT and SAVE CHANGES and OK to reboot the system.

Definitley sounds like a bad motherboard, however, try removing the memory and using a different stick if you have some. Maybe 512 see if you can at least get it to post.
