One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive boot up

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty
make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they are probably old and faulty ?
one bad lead will end with a computer error
hope this will help

Have a Samsung SyncMaster 2232bw monitor that the power button flash is there a reset button on this monitor

I have another model of Samsung Syncmater monitors.

According to the manual, press the Source button then a key on the keyboard.
http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/200707/20070721174815531_BN59-00585T-01Eng.pdf

According to http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/267699-33-samsung-syncmaster-906bw-display try pressing Source and Power or Power and Auto button at the same time.

Per Tomshardware.com, if these things don't work then the monitor needs an electronic repair(detailed in forum) or, if you are unable to get it fixed, replacement.

I have a SyncMaster 2232BW monitor hooked to my pc, the blue power button comes on when power on, my computer POST appears for about a second then vanishes leaving only bright lights on display, none of...

Seems that you may have the wrong type of video selection theres a button for auto sensing the type of connection. if your video cable is blue then you have an analog connection, white video cable is a digital connection you just need to ensure that the monitor is set to the proper selection.

My samsung syncmaster 2232bw wont turn on at all, and the pilot light(blue light surrounding power button) is flashing repeatedly at a fast pace, much much faster than the norm?????????

Solution for Samsung SyncMaster 2232BWplus:

The problem is bad capacitors: 5 pcs. 820microFarad – 25v and 1 pc. 330microFarad -25v. Replace these capacitors. Then re-solder the two transformers of inverter side. Also re-solder the power transformer and the inductor coil.
To open the casing:
At the bottom of the stand just twist the knob to unlock. Then, use a small flat screw driver beginning from the bottom (left or right) then using a hard credit card (or alike) then slide/glide it in between the cover plastics.

Flashing screen when i first turn on my SamsungSyncMaster 2232 bw

I had a similar problem with my LCD computer screen. I took it apart and noticed a capacitor that was raised up on the flat end and appeared to be leaking a substance. Replaced it with a similar capacitor and works fine, for three years now.

Monitor not wrking

Sounds like you may have had a power surge.??
Disconnect power and signal input.
Turn the unit off for 20 minutes or so. Check the outlet against another device. ( Light )
Turn unit on without connection to PC video.
If you get a no signal, you good to go . Reconnect. If you continue to get a flashing light on power button,
Check warranty, get it back to Samsung for repair.
Hope this has helped

2232bw samsung DVI in problem

Try a DVI-D (Digital) Only cable, without the analog (right section). I´m basically talking about a DVI-D to DVI-D cable.
