Your defroster inside the fridge may not be doing a good enough job to keep the drain from freezing up. Check to see if the drain pan is frozen over in the freezer section. I took the cover off the inside of the freezer and wrapped a piece of uninsulated 14 gauge solid copper wire around the heating element and pushed one end down the inside of the drain tube and wrapped the other end around the heating element. No problems since.

have you checked to make sure the power cord is pushed in correctly?
if the power cord isn't the problem then it may need to be checked by a service tech, because it's not suppose to be running slow just a few months after you bought it.
I would call the people you bought it from & tell them what it's doing & see if they'll give you another one, I've been sewing for 30+ years & I wouldn't keep the machine.
good luck

Hello there, We have mold which is hard to remove in the liner of our loader and it also drips down the front of the washer when we have ran it. Do you any advice for removal of mold and to stop the...

Hi Clare. Yours is a common complaint, but easily remedied. In your owners manual, you will find that it is recommended to run the "sanitize" cycle every 30 days. This will kill any mold or mildew inside the machine, and keep it from smelling inside. If you havent been doing this, it will be a little harder to get it clean. The sanitize cycle heats the water to 185 degrees ( approx.) My advice would be to run a sanitize cycle once a week for the next month. Put a cup of bleach in the detergent dispenser each time you run the sanitize cycle for the next 4 times ( without clothing inside). Also, leave the door open overnight after completing your wash. This will allow the internal wash drum to dry out and eliminate any chance of mold or mildew inside. When you see a drip down the front of the machine, it is usually lint or hair stuck to the bottom of the glass door where the seal contacts the bottom of the door. Keep this area clean and lint free and your leaking should stop.

it is unfortunate that this has happened.
sorry to here. it is most common for front loading washing machines and dryers to have a faulty door switch, although new machines have become increasingly difficult to diagnose. and parts have become much more expensive. Its possible he may be able to by pass the door switch to test the machine or test the door switch.
Hope this helps

Zanussi Electrolux frost free fridge/freezer - freezer defrosting

My husband left the freezer door open a couple of months ago, causing ice to form. The loud rattling noise was the fan hitting the ice. The reason why the temperature started to rise but the noise stopped was because the fan had got stuck in a block of ice and was no longer working. Simple solution - defrost the freezer for 24 hours. Touch wood, it is all working fine now!

3 subs in one month.

When you say these are dead, is the voice coil open? If so, the easiest way to fry a coil is to send it high frequencies that it can not reproduce or to send it a distorted signal. If you know anyone with a scope, scope the output when you have it running. Normally the low end will be a relatively smooth curve. If the curve is made up of a really jagged line, you may be passing harmonics through the amp that can heat up the coil causing it to fry. Check the output of the amp with a volt meter. When cranked up you should get no DC voltage at all. If there is DC, that too will do nothing but heat up the coil.

Keep us posted.

Samsung P1253 washing machine doesn't spin fast leaving clothes wet

I found a solution on another site. At first I didn't think it would work, but it did....

The samsung washer is very sensitve to balance. Although you may feel you have all of the feet tight to the floor....run the spin cycle, as it runs up to the middle speed, watch each foot closely, one of the feet will lift up and down just a tiny bit (or more)

Lift that corner slightly and Tighten that foot. Continue to run the spin and watch the feet, make sure none of them move at all.

Mine immediatly went up to the faster speed and wrang out the clothes like it did the first day i got the machine. Once done, be sure to LOCK the feet with the ring at the top.

good luck!
