I opened the side valve, (not when there is hot water within as it will explode in your face) and rinse the water from here. That worked for me.
The problem is the limescale it think which needs to be regularly cleaned out.
hope this helps.

How to clean the brown dirty water ,what can I use

see this step and fix it. God bless you
Clean an iron:
  1. Unplug the iron and make sure it is cool before cleaning.
  2. Use a toothpick or pipe cleaner to remove buildup in the steam vents, making sure the debris doesn't fall into the vents.
  3. Use a fine sewing needle to carefully clean the spray nozzle of mineral deposits.
  4. To flush sediment from a steam iron, pour 1/2 cup water and 1/2 cup vinegar into the water tank. Place the iron on a rack over a broiling pan and set the iron to steam until the tank runs dry. Repeat if necessary. Or follow the instructions for using a commercial iron cleaner.

Why does my Tefal Pro express stain my ironing with brown marks and scale, I fill the tank with softened household water, but I still get a sudden gush of brown scale water. We live in a very hard water...

Its a real pain, but use only distilled water.

Fill your iron with white vinegar and let it steam until empty.. face down on a towel on lowest steam setting.

WE HAVE A TEFAL PRO EXPRESS TURBO FOR ABOUT A YEAR NOW AND EVEN AFTER DESCALING THE IRON BROWN STUFF STILL COMES OUT OF THE UNDERNEATH AND THE SIDES WHY ?

It is caused by minirals in the water being heated up and crystallising. Try using distilled water.

Failing that,

It may be cheaper to buy a new one from wallmart or similar store.

I have a Tefal Pro express iron and I have water dripping out of the bottom of the generator. Can you help.

There is a seal or a connection leaking. Take the iron apart -- you'll probably see where it's been leaking.

Tefal Pro Express - Constant Steam (Model 2932)

Great answer from Jacquief above. To which I add try giving the base of the iron and its button, a very light tapping with a tack hammer (much smaller and lighter than a standard hammer) wrapped in a tea-towel. This can often break up the lime scale seal which has formed somewhere inside and is not responding to Jacquief's method. In future never use scale laden tap water in your iron, use $2 litre bottles of distilled water from any supermarket.

Hi, My Tefal Express Steam Iron is not working. The steam will not work and brown water is pouring out the bottom of the iron. I need to know where I should get this repaired in Inner West...

Do you use any additive to the water when you iron?
Do you empty the water out after use ?
Brown steam / water suggests foul water, or rust due to dirty water pipes on Iron.

With regards to 'not working' - do you have any lights on, or is it dead.
(I had one of these, the mains lead within the flex holder had broken - design flaw) - managed to repair.
