I have a BEKO wm5100w and it has started making an awful noise when draining. Its definately not the spinning, ust the draining. It also leaves the clothes with a funny smell. What could be the problem?

Thank you Shaun, I had this problem too so went to open the filter and it would only turn 90 degrees. I guessed whatever was in there was blocking the filter from turning too. I turned the machine on its side and undid the telescopic rubber hose. Voila! a bra wire! Thanks again for the advice.

Washer will not spin, it makes noise as if bearings have gone, empties ok and washes ok

Hi if your beko washing machine is causing a problem and wont drain or has a spin problem then you have to check the carbon brushes first.

Also check all waste pipes are clear and inspect the pump I have included this video below.

At our website I am doing self diagnostic videos on these beko's as we speak so all tutorials will be in this link below
How to replace Beko Washing Machine Motor Carbon Brushes
you might find this test video helpful but only do it if you have checked the motor

Machine makes awful noise during any movement, spins very slowly, not enough to spin out. Making an awful noise, like stripped gears and won't drain

There are three reasons for such awful noise during spinning. Either the drum or the bearing turning the drum. Check for drum bearing failure if your washing machine is noisy on the spin cycle. Drum bearing failure is common when the bearing seals start allowing water to enter. You can take the belt off and spin the drum by hand, and if the drum rumbles, replace the bearings.

Thanks
