When my speed queen starts a low quick banging noise is heard. tried low loads but same noise

A Speed Queen top-load washer making a banging sound at the beginning of the cycle could be a sign of a few problems. You could examine the following:
  • Size of load: Check to see that you are not overfilling the washer. The water and clothes should be about 3/4 full in the washer. Overloading the washer can result in the drum becoming unbalanced and making banging sounds.
  • Leveling: Verify that the washer is level. If not, reposition the washer's feet until it is level. A washer that is out of balance can also make banging sounds.
  • Spring elements: Examine the suspension springs at the drum's top. The drum may slam against the washer's sides if one of them has broken or come loose.
  • Motor: The motor might be the source of the banging sound. The washer may vibrate and make banging sounds if the motor is loose or damaged.

My washing machine has started making a terrible noise.

If your washing machine has started making a terrible noise, there could be several reasons for this. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take to identify and resolve the issue:
  1. Check for objects in the drum: Sometimes, objects such as coins, buttons, or zippers can get caught in the drum and cause a noise. Turn off the machine and check the drum for any foreign objects. If you find any, remove them carefully.
  2. Balance the load: If the machine is making a loud banging noise, it may be due to an unbalanced load. Open the machine and redistribute the clothes evenly.
  3. Check the drum bearings: The drum bearings are responsible for allowing the drum to rotate smoothly. If they are worn or damaged, they can cause a loud grinding or scraping noise. To check the bearings, rotate the drum by hand. If it feels stiff or makes a grinding noise, the bearings may need to be replaced.
  4. Inspect the drive belt: If the drive belt is loose or damaged, it can cause a squeaking or rattling noise. Turn off the machine and check the belt for signs of wear or damage. If the belt needs to be replaced, consult your user manual for instructions.
  5. Contact a professional: If you are unsure of what is causing the noise or if none of the above solutions work, it may be necessary to contact a professional technician. They can diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate course of action.
Note: Before attempting any maintenance or repair work on your washing machine, be sure to unplug it from the power source and read the user manual thoroughly. Also, follow any safety precautions recommended by the manufacturer.

Drum makes loud banging noise.

Maybe the heat in your dryer over time has melted weak glue and loose components are hitting against the drum

When drying clothes, there is a loud banging noise, almost like if the clasp to overalls is hitting the inside of the dryer. Right now I am drying towels, so there is nothing metal or hard that could be...

Hi,

Check all exposed screws, and make sure they are tight. Loose cabinet screws may cause a banging sound. Make sure nothing is loose inside the drum. Remove the lint trap and look below the lint trap holder for any loose items that may have slipped through the cracks.
Check to see if the drum is supported on wheels or rollers. Sometimes these can wear and require replacement.

Good luck and have a nice day

My Amana LW4303W washing made a loud bang noise,

Hi.

You have broken the drum bearing, it is the part located at the bottom of the tub, the drum bearing if fixed at the back of the drum.

Here all parts and diagrams for your model.

Very loud banging noise when spinning

sounds like a balance problem may be when the drum was replaced they didn't fit the new drum in the correct spot the other thing that would cause load banging and excessive vibrations in the machine is if the shockers are worn out,
believe it our not even washing machines have shockers to dampen the movement of the drum spinning
