SOURCE: how I can delete all saved in memory

The service manual says:
"Before you start, set the 8 bit parameter installation configuration 1 to 1."

This means that you have to go and make the last bit of the Software Switch from 0 to 1.
'Soft-switch 1: Tuning the ringing tone and automatic printing (3100MFP/X)"
When you go there you discover instead of being
10000100, it is 00100001 which means that the first bit is the last in our case.
When I changed the 00100001 to 10100001, then it opened me the option of down, #, 8 and I erased the memory.
Then after I pressed the 8, the printer acted like rebooting and when I returned to make the Software switch 1 back to the former state I discovered that the Software switch 1 returned to the former state by itself.

I'm Getting the following massage " printer error" HSYNC on the xereo mfp 3100

Hi,

Its related to the LASER UNIT! When I had the problem I had the front cover off so it wasn't hitting the laser interlock switch which is located in the slot in the sheet metal on the front of the machine when the front cover is not shut........... If that makes any sense.
