P0405 = EGR valve issues - replace your EGR valve. RE: white exhaust - check door water in your oil, white exhaust usually means a blown head gasket (white smoke is usually steam)

hi
White smoke is burning engine oil.
mostly when Engine oil is changed or topped up

White smoke coming from engine during starting

White smoke means you are burning water or coolant. Check your coolant system, if it is low you may have a head gasket issue

Getting P0405 , P0300 , P2670 code what is that

P0405 means Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit Low. It may caused by Short to ground in EGR signal or Reference circuits or voltage in EGR ground or signal circuits;Bad EGR valve; or Bad PCM wiring issues due to chafing or loose terminals.
P0300 is Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected. It may be something wrong with spark plugs or wires, coil, oxygen sensor, fuel injector, etc.
As for P2670, it seems for the Actuator Supply Voltage "B" Circuit Low.

I have a 05 Dodge ram 1500 90,000mi. and it start to bog and eng.light came on my codes were p0129-p0405-p0340-p0868 and pending codes were p0129-p0325-p0330-p0405-p0340. I had put a new map sensor in...

P0340 is for camshaft position sensor circuit malfunction so the problem can be in you hav already changed sensor, then you need to check wiring from sensor to ecu and if the wires are ok than check the ecu! It can be either of them cousing the problem.

97 Nisson pickup smoking white smoke (a lot)

this indicates that you have a blown head gasket. you may not have water in the oil pan but it's because the water is not leaking into your oil galleys, but instead leaking into the cylinders and being burned hence the white smoke.. there is a big myth that you will get water in the oil with a blown head gasket . there might be trace amounts but the only time you get water in the oil is if the heads crack or the block cracks othere wise most times it's just getting burnt in the cylinders, hence the great amount of white smoke. please rate this thanks.
