yes you have a pore ground to the head light the reason its dim is it is using one of the other wires as a ground check the plug when its un plugged from the head light turn the lights on and
you will have power on 1 line on low and the other on high the 3rd is the ground

The volume is stuck at 100 (max) and when I go to the menu button it just rotates through all of the options. When I try to reduce the volume, it blinks fast between 99/100 without an reduction.

It sounds like the a switch on the TV is stuck. This may just be a stuck button, or a bad Switch Board. Try moving the buttons around to stop the problem. If this doesn't work, you will probably need to replace the Switch Board.

Volume control not working

Can you change inputs or listen to the radio?
try removing the batteries and re-inserting them on the controller. I'm wondering if the remote control is locking up and preventing any volume changes. just make sure the volume keys on both aren't stuck down.
Failing this i'd be dropping in for a quote to the bose repairer,
good luck!

Mic not working stilllll!

I'm not certain about yours, but my Acer Aspire 5920 has an audio/volume turn button, just under the lip of the laptop, just to the right of center. Even if you un-mute it, if the volume is turned down all the way - the button revolves, so looking a the front, turning it counter-clockwise will turn the volume down to off, and you won't hear a thing, no matter how much you try to un-mute the thing.
So turn that rotating button to the right, to make it louder, after you have un-muted a control panel volume slider and moved it up, and that just might make it work for you.
Good luck!
