Check your Direct X loaded OK
I am currently on version 11
Hold down the Windows key - with the flag - and press R
Type..... dxdiag...... in the open box, and then click OK
Run through the tabs checking the 'notes' windows for information
The version will be shown on the 'Systems' tab

If you still have problems run this webcam diagnostic tool

After installing my webcam, when i go to videocall, it says "usb video device can't start video renderer...check you've got a valid direct x installation" can you help me...

Activate directx


Is Directx installed in your computer? Go to the Microsoft Update page and download the file, then install it.
