Hi.

The main board is stuck in the rinse cycle.

Disconnect power cord for two minutes, then try restarting again the rinse cycle. This time keep a jug with water ready and keep refilling the container when it gets half-empty. You may need to refill over five times. Do not let the water get near to the end, or the rinse cycle won't be complete.

I post here the service menus for reset clean and descale. They may not work if the machine is stuck. Both procedures must complete within ten seconds. Disconnect and connect back power cord before starting:

Descaling lock:

1. Touch pad Clear
2. Touch pad On/Off once.
3. Release pad Clear.
4. Touch pad Clear 5 times and at the 5th time, hold it until Programming Mode is on display.
5. Choose reset from menu.

Clean lock

1. Touch pad Clear and hold.
2. Touch pad On/Off once.
3. Release pad Clear.
4. Touch pad Clear 5 times and at the 5th time, hold it until you get Programming mode display.
5. Choose reset from menu.

If that does not fix the problem, there is no reset, service mode will not work while machine is stuck. Call Miele. They will guide through the same procedures above, than they will eventually decide that the main board of this machine is stuck. In cases like this they usually offer free or discounted repair even out of warranty.

Hi,

The coffee system must be descaledregularly. The time period depends on the water hardness set. The appliance will display a reminder message and will eventually lock if not descaled.

The message window will first display:

"DESCALE AFTER COFFEES: 100".

This message will appear until the appliance is descaled or locks. When the count is down to zero, the appliance will lock and the message window displays:

The appliance can only be used again once descaling has been performed. Let the machine cool before descaling. Remove the sleeve of the steam nozzle to avoid damage from the descaling gent.
Only use the enclosed descaling tablets for descaling. The descaling tablets are specially designed for descaling this coffee system. Other agents may damage the machine and affect the taste of the coffee and hot water. The descaling tablets can be purchased from Miele. To prevent damage to the exterior of the machine wipe up any descaling solution spills immediately!

Add 1 liter of water to the water tank. Dissolve two of the enclosed descaling tablets in the water.
Close the water tank and insert into position. Close the door. The descaling will take place in the
automatic descaling program. Automatic descaling Turn the program selector counterclockwise to the "Program mode" position. Press e, to select "Descaling" with the asterisk. Press ENTER.

Descaling the appliance

there is one more hang on thanks

I'd check to make sure you don't have a door switch that isn't functioning properly. Also, might be a control panel or control panel interface issue.

Lost directions - how to descale keurig ?

Hello, Here is a tip i wrote, see if this helps you.

Have you ever wondered, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?' First lets us understand what is exactly is scaling. The build up of minerals inside the hot parts of your coffee machine or espresso machine is commonly called lime scale. When lime scale builds up inside the Espresso machine, it slows down the water flow, reduces the boiler capacity and can prevent your coffee machine from working properly. To keep your Espresso machine operational at full order, it is important to descale it every three months. The time intervals between descaling depend upon many factors. Quality of your water and the amount of water running through the machine are the two main factors that decide the frequency at which you should descale your Espresso machine. The more you your machine, more often should you descale it. In some cities, in conjunction with a water filter you can use your coffee machine for a year or more without descaling at all. If you use less water by drinking espressos you'll need to descale less often than if you make cappuccinos.

Descaling products are widely available from stores that sell coffeemakers and espresso machines. Be sure that the product you buy to descale your Espresso machine is intended for this specific use only. Before you descale your Espresso machine, always unplug it and make sure that it is cold. Also, never immerse the appliance in water and nor should you use abrasive cleaning products or scouring materials on any part of your Expresso machine. In case your Espresso machine does not come with a instruction guide or booklet, then use a proper citric acid based descaling solution designed for espresso machines. This should be mixed and prepared as per the instructions on the bottle or packet. Once your Espresso machine has been descaled properly you would not be left wondering, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?', treat yourself to a great cup of coffee. Some popular models of Espresso machines are Krups EA8080 Espresseria Automatic, DeLonghi Magnifica EAM3200S, Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk XN 7106 Fire-engine red, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5400, DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600, DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM4200S, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5500 and Magimix Nespresso Citiz M190.

Hi, our Miele microwave doesnt seem to be microwaving !!! It is a H4060BM combination oven Everything is operating normal and no faults etc showing but when we are trying to microwave if turns on and...

Hi - the most likely problem is the HV Diode or the Magnetron, other possible one is the capacitor & door interlock, its counting down so the interlock has to be ok.

The control fuse (8A) is likely to have blown and if its the case then the magnetron unit is highly likely to be the cause. The HV Diode can be tested with a Insulation tester conducts one way only, more accurate than a multi meter to see if this has blown as well. One other component is HV fuse has a white casing fixed between the high voltage transformer windings - u wont miss this one.

Then again perhaps a serviceman is your best option - be prepared for the cost of repairs.

What does it mean to descale my tassimo? the yellow light is on and the screen keeps saying "descale". thanks

In order to keep your Tassimo machine operational at full order, it is important to descale it every three months. Descaling products are widely available from stores that sell coffeemakers and espresso machines. Be sure that the product you buy to descale your Tassimo machine is intended for this specific use only. Mix the descaling product directly in the water container, following the instructions provided on the descaling packaging. Then replace the water container on the machine. Place a large cup or mug on the cup stand, insert the cleaning disc, bar code down and close the brew mechanism. As soon as the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop button. This will fill the brew cycle with descaling solution. Empty the cup and let the machine stand for 15 minutes. Then open the brew mechanism and close it again, leaving the cleaning disc in place. Repeat this step two more times for maximum descaling effectiveness.

Discard the remaining descaling agent from the water container, rinse it well and refill with fresh, cold water. Clean the machine by flushing water through it in the same manner and emptying the cup as it fills. Make sure that all the descaling solution has been completely rinsed away, and then flush two full water containers through the machine before using it again. Remove the cleaning disc, rinse and refill the water container and your Tassimo machine is ready to use. Also, before you descale your Tassimo machine, always unplug it. Also, never immerse the appliance in water and nor should you use abrasive cleaning products or scouring materials on any part of your Tassimo machine. This method works for most espresso machines, including some of these popular models: the DeLonghi Magnifica EAM3200S, DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM4200S, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5400, Gaggia 74507BCN Classic, Krups EA8080 Espresseria Automatic, DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600, the BC0255 DeLonghi coffee machine and the Krups Nespresso CititZ XN 7006.

Keurig Coffeemaker says to descale. How do I do that?

Hi, unplug the coffee machine and remove the cup.

Turn the coffee machine upside down over the sink in order to fully drain it of water. Be careful of the plug and avoid getting it wet.

Pour undiluted white vinegar into the reservoir up to the top edge of the viewing window.

Place a ceramic cup under the machine, plug it in and press "Brew" for a large cup. Pour the cups of vinegar into the sink and repeat the process until the reservoir is empty.

Remove the final cup of vinegar and empty it. Fill the coffee maker with clean water and allow it to sit for four hours, remaining on.

Unplug the machine and dump the water into the sink.

Fill up the reservoir with fresh, clean water and plug it in. Place the ceramic cup back on the drip tray and run multiple brews in order to rinse the machine of any remaining vinegar residue.

Timer descends very quickly

The first thing I would suggest is a hard reset. Unplug the unit for a minute or so. Then plug it back in, set the clock and try again.

If that doesn't work, leave it unplugged for maybe an hour. Then let us know if the hard reset does not fix it.

We're happy to help you with free advice and we'd appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
