try this its free and good http://avgfree.com
theres more bugs in Mcafee then any other virus scanner out there and as far as the warning.

THAT is just Mcafee not likeing MSN Messenger.

odd but true.

GDB, GDB1, GDB2 and GDB3 refer to microsofts servers.

and in reality look like this

msgr-gdb3.msgr.hotmail.com.
msgr-gdb.msgr.hotmail.com.
msgr-gdb1.msgr.hotmail.com.
msgr-gdb2.msgr.hotmail.com.

nope its not your ram just remove Mcfee id almost format completely again to prevent any of Mcfee being left on a hard drive. but you can just add/remove it but if you got the time ;-)

Better safe then sorry.

Hope that helps let me know what else you need help with and I will do my best to make sure ya get a awnser.

IF and only IF that does not fix the issue remove the RAM and test it again in its origional state.

And if the memory are not exactly the same possible issues can arise as well.

Ram slots problems

Are you sure it's the slot and not the ram? Try switching the ram to isolate which memory chip is bad. You can start by using on ram and one slot, then booting and if it's ok, move it to the next slot and boot. Once you've tested that one memory chip, do the same thing with the other memory chip. More than likely you've got a bad memory chip.

Try switching the ram in each slot. If switching them around does not solve the problem and your slot is truely bad, you will have to replace the motherboard or increase the size of the ram in the slot that works.

Can I install Windows XP Professional on an Emonster 600 ?

Yes you can...

Installing Windows XP on a Emonster 600 is the same process as installing Windows XP on any Windows-compatible personal computer. The process is not difficult, and can be completed quickly.

#1 Insert the Windows disc and restart your computer. When prompted to press any key to boot from the CD, press a key. Windows will begin the set-up process.
#2 When a list of hard drive partitions appears, delete each of them by pressing "D" to delete and "L" to confirm deletion. When finished, you should only have one choice: "unpartitioned space."
#3 Press "Enter", then format using the NTFS file system. Do nothing while Windows begins to install.
#4 Wait for Windows to restart. When the process continues, enter the product key, the time and time zone, and your name when prompted to do so. Allow the installation to continue; it may take some time.
#5 when Windows restarts again, continue the process using the on-screen instructions. The process will vary depending on your hardware configuration.
#6 Connect to the Internet and activate Windows once you reach your desktop. If you can't, you can also activate Windows over the phone. Installation is complete.

I´ve a toshiba Satellite a215. How can I get the recovery disks?

As far as many of us know, you has to buy the recovery cd, but, instead of going to all the trouble, since you might has to either call or contact them via e-mil.

Since you already clean the system, why not go to the site and download all the drivers for your specific system, is very simple, and you get to load just the programs you need.

Drivers are a must, here is the direct link, choose download then choose your system > system model>"GO"

the next page would be all of your drivers, you can use your other system or a friend, put then on a flash drive or burn into cd.

Before you do any driver install, you should make sure you are connected to the internet, and do the windows update, as there should be new drivers for your system.

You should also do an "intel INF" update if not provided at the toshiba site, use google and downloaded it, make sure it applies to your system.

After you done the inf update and windows update, now you install all of the drivers and utilities that are available to you at the site.

sorry can't be of more help, below is the link to the site

I repeatedly get Program not responding messages

Not much to go on here. Are you asking for condolences, or what to do about it? This message is caused generally by your machine having run out of resources. That could be swap file space, due to having run out of room on your hard drive, or swap file size set too small. Graphics card insufficient for what you are trying to do, especially if it is an on-board graphics card. Mostly due to not enough RAM installed. RAM chips are cheaper than they have ever been. See how much is in your machine, and then max it out by adding RAM up to the capacity of your motherboard. Temporary fix is try running less applications at one time, defrag your hard drive, add a program such as Advanced Windows Care (FREE on the net) and use it to maintain your registry, I would go for the RAM upgrade.

Toshiba tecra 8100 , says memory is incompatiable type?

the Toshiba Tecra 8100 only supports 144-Pin PC100 SODIMM RAM chips. It has 2 total RAM slots and can support up to a maximum of 512MB of RAM.

If you have attempted to upgrade the RAM on the unit, ensure that both modules are seated (plugged in) firmly. Also ensure that they are of the correct type (144-Pin PC100 SODIMM), and size (not bigger than 256MB each). Anything other than those types of chips will yield you that message.

If you (or someone else) have not attempted a memory upgrade on the unit, then it's entirely possible that your unit's RAM is failing and I would reccommend bringing it in to a repair shop to have it troubleshot / fixxed.

Hope that helps you, and please do not forget to rate my solution.

Toshiba satellite p30 133

possibly memory chip or hard drive failure,
swap ram chips around to see if that fixes it .

if you have the ability, try the drive in another pc,it will not boot fully but you will be able to tell if it is working ok, else it looks like a service on the cards.

good luck
