You will need to remove the rear panel from inside the freezer compartment and thaw the drain line. It is below the aluminum evaporator coil. Once thawed, install a drain heater to prevent this from happening again. The heater is inexpensive and easy to install. It comes with complete instructions.

I have a different fridge but had the same problem in the same area last year. Have you taken the front grill off the bottom and cleaned/vacuumed under the fridge at all? The dust build up there and behind the fridge panel builds up large enough for the fridge to not be able to cool itself causing condensation/drippage of this type. Reminder warning.. be sure to shut all power off before vacuuming out behind the back panel of the f fridge, that's where the fan turns. Hope this fixes the problem for you as it did for me!

Fridge is dripping directly onto top shelf. It is

Hello, this sounds like you have a blockage in the drain tube, remove panel back/bottom of freezer..you may see ice build up...melt ice with hair dryer/heat gun...you will see a pan below evaporator...melt ice in pan...dry water up in pan with paper towel...now you should see a hole in pan that leads to drain tube...pour some hot water in pan..wait a couple minutes..mop up water and repeat this step 2-3 times....once you have done this find some flexible curtain wire or electrical wire..poke down the hole until you see the water drain..now it is clear..put back panel back and you are good to go. The reason you see water in the fridge is because the water has been leaking into the freezer and down the vent into the fridge instead of running into the drain hole...Please feel free to comment again if you have any other question. I heard a dripping sound and discovered it was coming from the back of the freezer. I also noticed the infrared receiver light is flashing red...what's up?

The common thing is the water line hook up to the back of the frige. First find the shut off. It is usually under the sink or behind the fridge. Roll the fridge out slowly so as not to damage line further. Also roll it straight as not to damage floor. Once u turn off the water line listen to make sure the water drip has stopped if it stops thats the problem. The line is very easy and simple to change yourself. You can get the plastic ones or copper one at the home centers.

or like this if its under sink either way follow the line from fridge to find it.

Freezer is dripping water into the fridge

If your refrigerator has a ice maker or not I think the drain is clogged for the defrost water. We may need to unplug and look behind the freeze back wall to see what is happening. If you would please see if you can find the model number so I can help you better, Thanks Sea Breeze

Behind the panel in the freezer there is a drain hole that is underneath the evaporator.  It is frozen over.  Take the back panel off and get all of the ice out and run hot water down the drain until it is clear.  When the unit goes into defrost some of that ice melts and drips down thru the vent into the fridge section.
