SOURCE: want to find out the best type of enclosure for 2

you best type of enclosure will be a sealed enclosure or you can build it with a partition in the middle seperating the 2 subs and port each side.

15x14x9=how many cubic feet?

Square feet is calculated L x W so 10x10 would be 100 sq. feet, Cubic feet is calculated by L x W x H so 15 x 14 x 9 = 1890 cubic feet

What is the cubic feet needed to build box for audioban 12

You can use this speaker in either a ported or sealed box. A sealed box would be smaller, (sealed box volume: 0.5 to 1.25 cubic feet) the larger the box the more base you will get. With a sealed box your amp has to work double hard as it would in a ported box ( 1.3 to 3.2 cubic feet) You will get close to double the volume in a ported box. Tuning a ported box with the size and length of the port will determine the hertz the speaker will play at.

What air space for a sealed box should i use for my lanzar max10d subwoofers

a sealed box is designed to handle more power with a smaller box. to get max efficiancy or spl bass it is recommended to go with a ported or vented box but your speaker can't handle as much sometimes 200-300 watts less but bigger bass. so, sealed box is 0.85cu.ft-1.25cu.ft and vented or ported is 1.25cu.ft-1.75cu.ft.

Could me and friend install a lanzar max 15" sub into a 2004 honda accord??

Technically speaking, you can install whatever you want into anything you want to install it into. I recommed you doing your research first, because a good amp and sub install job is more than just plugging stuff up. And if your not upgrading to an aftermarker HU, fuggedaboutit!

I have a fifteen inch lanzar max pro p145d and want to put it in an 06 mustang. need to know how much air space i need to make it rumble right

I would go with a sealed because ur trunk is small and sealed would be the smaller box. I recommend 2.0-2.75 cubic ft sealed. for vented would be 3.25-3.50 after woofer displacement. Also I would recommend a reverse wedge meaning the woofer would go on the back side of the box not the angel side because u can slide the box in further saving u a little more room. I'm doing that same box now for the same sub but in a Nissan 2001 sentra. My box when done will be 2.78 cu.ft. After displacement. Sealed. 720 watt rms power acoustick 2ohm stable mono block to get longer life out of my sub.

Box recomendations

It depends on the size of the subs- 8z 10z 12z 15z? whether or not you port the box is up to you- a ported box is generally louder than a sealed box -as you are coupling and tuning the sound from the rear of the driver with the sound generated from the front of the sub- but the box is also generally larger as well.Then aside from your preference of ported/sealed you have to account for the recommendations of the manufacturer as to whether the sub/speakers are meant to be placed in a ported or sealed enclosure. Most 10 inch subs do well in a box that yields .75 cubic feet to1.0 cubic feet.most 12z do well in 1.0 cu feet to 1.5 subic feet and 15z do well in 1.5 to 2.5 cubic feet. I have a set of 15z that require 4.25 cubic feet per sub-so its important to look into the manufacturers recommendations. The easiest box to make would be a sealed enclosure-and the sound quality generally yields a tighter more accurate bass sound along with increased power handling capability- try going to rockford fosgate .com and look into the woofer box wizard its a program that calculates air space for whatever size box you have room for-hope that helps you-good luck

What frequency are you going to be runnig to your subs? what do you want? punchy bass,over the big tom drops?
what amp r you running or should i say amps?
you'll get the highest spl in a sealed enclosure,but i dont think thats what your looking for.you want heavy vibrating soud,am i correct? a band pass box will give that to you in a close space.bass sounds better and louder the further away you get../.give me more info then ill give you a layout.but 4 now this might help or solve your problem
