Saeco Vienna stopped working

Machine was in the process of grinding coffee and then it powered off and I have not been able to get the machine to power on since. Is there a repair center in Los Angeles, CA?

After ripping it apart it and putting it back together, it turned out to be something really simple. Assuming it's your "beans" indicator blinking red:
1) remove left-side grind receptacle. Empty any grinds 2) remove big front tray, empty any grinds (mine had a pile at the back) 3) open front panel by pulling on the left side (the hinge is on the right) - don't break your machine! 4) You'll see a big black thing in there with a "Press" handle on the front. Press down on that and jiggle it free 5) Clean out all the grinds 6) put everything back. When you put the black thing in, jiggle it a little bit. You may have to remove it and put it back a few times 7) check that nothing else is loose, you have beans and water and give it a try.
If it runs and runs for a minute and then the indicator blinks again, repeat the process.
Sincerely yours,
Dennis Consorte

Our Saeco Vienna Deluxe will not stop grinding. Any ideas?

Hi
3 things
1. Grind is too fine. Move to a very coarse grind, say 16.
2. Move the small knob to the - side and try again.
3. If that didn't work your going to have to clean you grinder.
Need instructions? email me.

Saeco Vienna grinds too much coffee.

Hi
If you have the Delux or Digital there are 2 knobs in the bean hopper. Turn the small knob back 1 mark and see if that will help.

What does the coffee produced taste like, is it bitter and watery, is there any creama on the espresso shot. Try adjusting the grind and the coffee level, maybe a little coarser.

Long time for drip coffee.

Grinder is set to too fine. Lower grinder settings. Keeping the machine at current settings with drip extraction will result in brew group clogging, gear stripping, and/or dulling of grinder burrs.

Saeco Vienna Deluxe odd burning smell

gears are probably broke. Happens when to much coffee and coffee ground too fine get compacted into the brew drive unit.

Shreds the plastic gears like butter.

Machine has to be sent out for service, gear replacement is long and impossible for anyone untrained. Trained techs it takes at least an hour if not more.
