How do I eject the Dvd

Press the eject button on the top right-hand of the keyboard. Be patient if the disc does not pop out immediately. Try pressing the button a few times or waiting a few seconds and then press the button again. If it doesn't eject, tilt the computer with the disc drive facing down and shake it gently as you press eject.[1]
2
Drag the disc icon into the trash. If the eject button isn't working, locate the disc icon on your computer's Desktop and drag it to the trash can. The trash can is located on the far right end of the Application Dock on the bottom of the computer screen.

3
Press and hold "Command" while simultaneously pressing "E."

4
Find the disc in the Finder. Open the Finder, located on the bottom left of the applications dock. Look on the left-hand side of the pop-up window under "Devices" for the name of the disc in your drive. Locate the eject button directly to the right of the disc name and click on it.
5
Eject the disc through an application if it is not in the Finder. In iTunes or DVD Player, click on the "Controls" drop-down menu located on the top toolbar and click "Eject Disc." You can also open iTunes and click on "Playlists" so that the left side bar pops up. Look for the CD icon with the appropriate name. Click the eject button directly to the left of the CD name.

Movie stuck n apple macbook

Hi
I assume you are saying there is a disc stuck inside your machine?

• Have you tried: using the eject button located upper right on your keyboard? Hold it down for 4-5 seconds.

• dragged the Disc-image to the trash?

• if this fails you can try using the Disc tool located in your Applications folder.

• If all else fails, try restarting the machine while holding down the mouse button. This will eject discs. After the disc is ejected let go of the mouse button and the machine starts normally.

• If even this fails you will have to try manually - the "straighten paper-clip method" There is a mechanical lever at the very side of the hole where you insert the disc that can be used to push the disc out. I would reccomend to check your manual for further instructions on this.

Hope this helps

The disc player suddenly stops playing and says no disc even if there is disc on the shelf

Your disc player has a "lens or eye" that reads the electronic signal from your disc and transform that signal into a video image and audio sound. The reason why it stops playing and says there's no disc inside is because it fails to read the signal. The lens or eye may have acquired dirt that's blocking the signal. Try to open your disc player and locate the lens located on the center of the rotating disc holder. It is very easy to locate because it is directly under the disc. It is round, very small and made of glass. Get a cotton ear bud or just a small piece of cotton, moisten it with alcohol, or nail polish remover then wipe the lens. By doing it, you are removing the dirt that may have accumulated while you were using your disc player. It is highly advisable that you switch on all your electronic gadgets at least twice a week even if you're not using them. By doing this, you are preventing your electronic devices from acquiring moisture due to heat/coldness in the environment.
Another possibility, the format of the disc that you inserted (mp3, mp4, blueray, dvd) is not compatible with your player and therefore your player was not able to decode/read the signal.

The disc tray of my Xbox 360 console does not open

If the tray does not open when you press the eject button, try to manually open it. To do this:
  1. Unplug your Xbox console from the power source.
  2. Locate the manual release button on your Xbox console.

For most Xbox consoles, the manual release button is located in a small pinhole to the left of the eject button under the disc tray.

For some Xbox consoles, the manual release button is located under the disc tray. It can be under the "O" or the "B" in the word "XBOX" that appears on the tray.
  3. Insert a straightened paper clip or other small tool in the hole at an angle to the left. Gently push the paper clip to try to press the manual release button and partially open the disc tray. This may take several tries. Typically, a thin paper clip works better than a thick paper clip.

If you insert the paperclip in the hole and find an obstacle, this indicates that your Xbox console's manual release button is located in a different area of the console. Look under the "O" or the "B" in the word "XBOX" that appears on the tray. If this is the case, insert the paperclip under the "O" as outlined in step C. If you find an obstacle, insert the paperclip under the letter "B”. The manual release button is located in one of these three locations.
  4. After the disc tray partially opens, pull the tray with your fingers to fully open the tray

Depending on the type of disc drive that you have in your Xbox 360 console, use one of the following methods:

Method A: Insert a straightened paper clip or another small, stiff wire into the first hole from the left side of the disc tray. To release the disc tray, push the paperclip into the hole to press the manual eject mechanism. The manual eject mechanism is a white lever that is visible behind the console casing. The hole is located about one-and-a-half inches (approximately four centimeters) from the left edge of the disc tray.

Method B: Insert a straightened paper clip or another small, stiff wire into the second hole from the left side of the disc tray. Push the paperclip repeatedly into the hole to turn a gear to release the disc tray. The hole is located about one-and-a-half inches (approximately four centimeters) from the left edge of the disc tray.

Method C: Insert a straightened paper clip or another small, stiff wire into the into the hole that is directly under the "X3" in the Xbox 360 label on the disc tray to release the disc tray. The hole is located about one inch from the right edge of the disc tray.

In each case, make sure that you line up the paperclip or stiff wire to pass through another notch behind the hole on the console casing.
