Pilot light will not ignite water heater

the pilot light serves to purposes. it is the source of ignition for the main burner and is a safety device that detects wether there is a flame or not. if the pilot light stays on when you stop pressing the pilot light button then you need to turn the knob to the on position to light the main burner. the pilot light is not the on position. if the pilot light goes out when you stop pressing the pilot light button then the thermocouple or flame sensor needs replacing. good luck

Gas is on pilot won t light

Hello there: The problem you mention is not that clear. The pilot won't light or the pilot lighted but won't stay on is two different problems. If the pilot won't even light or no gas coming out off the pilot when you push down the pilot button it means the pilot orfice is blocked and what it need is cleaning the pilot orfice. If the pilot light is on but goes off when you release the button then the thermopile need to be changed. Hope this can help.

Check the manual for your garage door opener (look online). There's a button on the back of the opener that you usually have to press, but the exact procedure will depend on your opener.

I have a new pack an go playpin without instructions. HJow do you lock the sides to stay up?

The bottom cannot be flat for the rails to lock (or unlock), raise the bottom half way and it should work. Really a pretty good safety feature!
