Quite often laptops have its own Restore Partition built into the hard drive, Now depending on what type of computer you have, here are examples: Copy and Paste the addresses shown below into the address bar of your browser then press enter.
Dell Laptop: http://en.community.dell.com/support-forums/laptop/f/3518/t/19245630.aspx
Toshiba Laptop: http://www.ehow.com/how_6915834_boot-recovery-partition-toshiba-laptop.html
HP Laptop: http://www.ehow.com/how_4841280_use-hp-recovery-partition.html
If your computer does not have the Restore partition you will need to purchase a Restoration disk...
However you want to be able to back up your files before your restore your computer.
