No and No, this is an error caused by System Mechanic, NOT A TOOLBAR on a browser(any browser), and reinstalling the OS is just the lazy way of fixing computer problems, I suggest you reinstall System mechanic with the latest version, and if you are still getting the same issue, contact iolo at

Error message at start up

This is a toolbar error. If you have added toolbars yahoo, shopping, news, google, etc.... It can cause it. So can viruses. AskBar seems to be the most common to cause the error search and see if you have it C:\Program Files\AskBarDis you can also go to in IE Explorer (your internet) Programs, Manage Add Ons, and disable anything not signed or that you think maybe a virus. Anything from Sun, Microsoft, or Adobe just leave alone they are fine.

tech support guy forum "I'm willing to guess it is being caused by a program called dit.exe which is installed by some card reader software to allow you to name the drives and for them to have individual icons.
It runs on startup and is a pretty much useless process.

Initially you should test to see if it is causing you problems.

Run msconfig and if it appears in your startup list disable it and restart

if that solves your problem then delete dit.exe from your windows folder (you can also get rid of dit.dll, dit.ini and ditxp.exe)

You should now do a registry sweep to get rid of any dit.exe entries

Hope that fixes the problem for you"

cheerz. let me know how did you go thanks

Error during start of Computer

Hi shyjuu, run a search for the file css.exe (Which may be part of spyware). Once windows has found the file or files delete them. (Double check that they are not being used by a program). If it is, uninstall the program. Run a virus scan on the drive.
