I'm trying to sign in to the facebook app on my celcus smart tv but there doesn't seen to be a keyboard to do this :/ any help would be greatly appreciated

Try plugging in your computer keyboard if it is USB. Some devices will respond to computer keyboard. Don't worry about shutting off the computer. USB is "plug and play". TV should have usb ports. When done with the TV, simply unplug the kb. Plug back into computer, nothing to reset. Nothing to Reboot.

Keyboard is connected to the computer... but it will not respond to the computer. when you type nothing happens

If it is a USB keyboard try unplugging it and plugging it into a different USB port. If it is wireless check the batteries. Be sure to try restarting your computer. If possible, try plugging it into a different computer. It may be broken if the other computer cannot see it.

Wich port do I plug the keyboard into, its a mac G3

If the Dell keyboard is a USB keyboard you can use it with a Mac. Just plug it into one of the Mac's USB ports. The keys are different (the Dell doesn't have the special Mac symbols so you'll have to get used to which keys do what) but it will work. (In fact I'm using a generic USB keyboard on my eMac here at work.)

If the Dell keyboard is a standard PS/2 style round plug you're out of luck. There's no place to plug in that style keyboard on a Mac.

Hi . .. I want to use this KVM switch to connect

The GCS632U has keyboard and mouse emulation that may not work with all wireless combos. If your wireless combo is going to work the single USB connection would need to go into the keyboard port as that is the only port that will recognize the hot key switching commands. If the wireless combo still has problems then try using a USB wired keyboard to ensure the GCS632U is working correctly.

Brought a CS62US and Mircosoft KB with mouse. When USB combo plugged on the left USB, only KB is worked together with switching function. When USB combo plugged on the rigth USB, both KB & Mouse worked...

Unfortunately, this switch has a dedicated port for keyboard that listens for the keyboard keystroke. You MUST plug the keyboard into the dedicated keyboard port on the KVM switch for the hotkeys to work. I recommend putting the mouse that comes with your keyboard to the side, and using another mouse, plugged into the dedicated mouse USB port on the switch. Not the prettiest solution, but some of those mouse/keyboard combos have some funky hardware!

I bought a multmedia keyboard how do i attacch it

Your keyboard is USB equipped?

Your laptop has a USB port?

Connect em

Your keyboard has the standard mini plug?

Your laptop has a mini port in the back?

Connect em

If one is one and the other is the other ... I thnk you are out of luck.

If yo are already using your USB port, you can daisy-chain USB devices up to 128 devices (though you would require additional power for that many, probably)

I hope this helps you

HP keyboard KB 9970

Is it USB or Standard connection. If it is USB then you may not have plugged it into the same USB port you had first plugged it into. Sometimes just plugging it into a different port can cause a problem. Try turning off the computer and then plugging it into a different USB port and then re-boot the computer and see what happens. If your operating system is winows xp or higher the operating system should be able to install a standard keyboard driver to use.

4-port usb kvw switch #GCS634U

The GCS634U is designed and tested to work only with a standard USB keyboard and mouse. However, most wireless keyboards and mice work with it, but they cannot guarantee any specific model or brand that would work correctly.

As you can see, this KVM switch is a bus powered device (meaning it only gets power from the USB ports of the computers). If the computer cannot provide enough power for the KVM switch to function correctly, then the wireless keyboard will be affected.

You may try using the IOGEAR GKM541RA. It's tested to work with the GCS634U. Or you may also try using a self-powered USB hub (meaning, it has it's own power adapter) and connect it in between the KVM switch and the computer. That self-powered USB hub will be the one that will add up power to the KVM switch and help it to function properly.
